well croom just informed me i have to title my '00 warrior. in order to do that i nead to read my VIN. here's the problem i painted over it. now i sanded it down and i can make out most of the #'s. my question is can someone verify how many digits i should have in my warrior VIN?

thanks in advance.

i have a similiar problem with my warrior. ihave the title but you can hardly make out the #s on the frame due to the powdercoat.  when i get home i'll look at hte title and let you know.

cool thanks for the help. if you could also make note of where the #'s and letters are that would help big time.

like "there's 18 digits the first 4 are letters and the 7th is a letter" something along those lines would really clear things up for me. thanks again.

cool like i said i can barley make it out. if i know where the letters stop and the #'s begin it'll make it way easier. on a side note i rode my buddies z400 this weekend and it has comparable Hp but my warrior frame is smaller and way more nimble, i wouldn't trade it for anything i can think of. hybrid is the way to go. i just wish some one made an electric start for the 426. that thing is a joke to kick after you've been riding for a few hours.

When you go into Croom for the first time do they come out and look at the vin? I also have a warrior but do not have a vin # on my frame. The frame had to be replaced under warrenty when it was 2 weeks old, frame cracked at a weld. The replacemant frame does not have a number on it. I have paper work from the dealer saying it was replaced and the paper work when I bought it. I want to go to Croom so will need to title it soon.

it was my understanding that all frames have a vin, i may be mistaken though. if it does have one it would be just forward of your left foot peg on the frame. and no, croom officials have not come out to visually verify my vin before on other bikes but they are changing alot of rules.

correct, as of the end of this month your bike must be registered if you wanna ride at croom. all those kidney blasting whoops are making me second guess the hassle though.

There is a special exemption policy depending on what year your quad is-I don't know what the in's and out's of the policy is-you would have to call Croom 352-797-5759 to find out the policy!!

i just had a warrior and i upgraded to a kfx.  I love the kfx a lot better than the warrior it seems like the kfx has a lot more pic up and the kfx is a lot easier to wheelie but thats my opionon.  i love my kfx

well that is a significant upgrade. but my warrior has a YZ426 in it with a full exaust, jet kit and a 15:1 high compression piston so you really can't compare that to a stock motored warrior. my point was i liked the smaller frame with the bigger motor as opposed to just buying a bigger quad with a bigger frame and motor.

When I titled mine, the tag office did not verify the VIN nor did the person at Croom either.  I think they only check the serial numbers on the $$ you  give them.   Grin
