If so what does it cost to ride now?
Is it worth going too on sport ATV's not into tracks just decent trails
Green sticker required?
Talked to a few people that say it's fun, but they ride utes
I searched but didn't find any newer threads on it.

Thanks

Hog Wallar is pretty much only mud. I went the opening day with my Samurai and it was o.k. if you like mud only. Didn't see much for ATV's to do other then mud as well..

There is a trail head at Rodman to access the new trail system. You used to be able to ride in the big sand pit at Rodman but those days are gone.

What was the official reason for shutting that large open area, that everybody loved, down?

the Rodman pit, was never included in the trail system as the USFS thought it was totally destroyed land and did not need to be included.  the environmentalist thought otherwise.  Someday they hope to win the argument to get the dam torn down and the Ocklawaha River returned to its original channel with no Rodman Reservoir. When that happens, the dirt from the dam will go back in the pit.  It is easier to make sure they don't have to fight ATV users then by fighting it now.  They did, no atv'ers objected and they won.  Pit Closed.
