Should I buy a 400?
«
on:
June 05, 2005, 07:04:18 PM »
a month ago i was scrapping up every penny to buy somthing that came even close to resembling a quad, so i went and got a job and am working and made money, so i bought a little blaster, well ive had it for a week now and have ridden it to croom a few times and have gotten used to it and feel as if i need more power, so i was thinking of selling my bike and goin to a KFX 400? am i making a good choice or should i put money into the blaster?

Yes KFX400: 4 strock, elec. start, reverse, great suspendtion, tons of aftermarket parts, bigger frame size (Blaster to small). Plus it looks better!!

This is somewhat biased remark-yes you should. I've owned my '05 kfx for about 6mo. and lovin' it!! It's a very fun machine.

I think you should. My friend(jmpnkfx) has one and I love it. I just bought a 05 Predator and the 100cc difference is only felt in mid range power. but that is just my opinion. I also believe the 400 is better balanced than most quads.

good choice it has dual ohv and is easy to mod but, the 05 kfx is the last. it will only be the dvx and ltz then.

Although I am a little 2 stroke biased
I would say get the bigger quad. The blaster is rather small (atleast for me) and a entry level atv. Either of the 400's would be a good sized ride to either grow into or have for a long period of time. If your current quad doesn't scare you from time to time then you've outgrown it. -Mark

i say we email him 26 emails each. if we can get about 100 members to do that, he would be screwed.

its a good idea to upgrade. Two strokes are not that good to begin with but the blaster is a slow two stroke. Good luck.
