Like I said before you guys are a bunch of uneducated hillbillies waiting for your next beer. I bet half the people that responded against this thread live in a mobile home or an apartment and don't know squat about what is going on in this country except for what mommy and daddy told you.
you live in reno, nevada? why do you come onto this Florida site and complain? Uneducated hillbillies? Half live in a mobile home or apartment? are you serious? There are tons a rich people in mobile homes too and whats wrong with apartments? Lars Ulrich (drummer for Metallica) his parents and grand parents both live in this nice mobile home park south of me. They are $185,000 + mobile homes. Where is the slap button when you need it

I rather see them hash it out, then just freakin pass a bill for 700 Billion $. Personally I like the Rebulican Plan better, and if you ask me that's why McCain is there.
The current plane. Spend 700 Billion our $ to buy up Mortgages that people are defaulting on, and/or defaulted on. This means simply, that the US Goverment is now the Mortgage Holder, of couse since they are the Mortgage Holder & the US Goverment, they can not kick ppl out of their homes. So they restruction the mortgage to an amount that they can afford, and go from there.
Sounds great right. Wrong..
1st, you have to look at the ppl that already lost their homes to foreclosures, don't you think they would of liken the same protection. The US Consititution is clear, what the Goverment does for one, they must do for all....
2nd, the average guy says, okay, I can just barely manage my mortgage pymnts as it is, so I a get behind on mortgage, the Goverment will take over my Mortgage, restructure the payment, and I get to still live in my say $500,000 home, that is now only valued at say $400,000, and in according to economist, will continue to go down.
The $700 Billion would just be the begining. In additon, if Goverment continue to acquire homes, you are now turning into a Socialist State, whereas the Goverment has rights over your home.
Then Nancy Pelosi, wants to add what she calls a Stimulus Package.... Ah extended the amount of time for unemployement, is not a stimulus package, that is an unemployement package, and thats another whopping $150 Billion $...
Yes this is bad, the ecomony is bad, but we can't screw it worst by making hasting bills/laws. I think it is good that they are hashing it out, this Country can NOT continue to bail-out companies. Hell we, yes we, just gave 25 Billion to GM yesterday.

Yeah, nevermind all of those democrats in the house and senate. I mean, they had nothing to do with it right?
I swear, if I ever form a pro dodge ball team, I want you on it Fishy. I mean, look at how good you are about dodging my posts and avoiding any meaningful discussion on the current election and instead substituting in another gripe about GWB.

Ok troll, so I assume your saying that Bush and the republicans are doing a good job? You must be part of the 30% or so of americans that think that. The economy is in shambles, housing market is terrible, unemployment going up, deficit going up, record oil prices low dollar values......and the list goes on and on. I am sure your republicans that have been in control of the house and senate and the white house for 6 of the last 7+ years have nothing to do with it.

You do it if you want to know, but I will tell you one thing the republicans are the king of deregulation and they are sitting on top of the heap right now, the president is called the commander and chief and if you ever heard the term "the buck stops here" it means the commander and chief takes responsibility for what happens on his shift. Evidently you and your party can't except that.

Libs and Conservatives find facts easy-enough, but, they regurgitate them the same way the religions do with the word of God. The bottom line is that we're screwed because hicks vote for hicks, city-slickers for city-slickers, moms for moms, born-agains for born-agains, etc.. An example is when Palin proudly-introduced her Down Syndrome child, stared into the camera and promised that parents of special-needs kids will "have a friend and advocate in the White House", NO ONE CARED that McCain had previously voted against increasing funding for special-needs kids' education. No one cared when Palin charged that government is too big and Obama wants to grow it. Yet, her party has been in power during the recent years when the government has expanded the greatest. Palin has bemoned that taxes are too high and Obama will raise them, yet, Alaska ranks number one in the nation in spending per resident while it ranks 18th in federal taxes paid per resident. In other words, all non-Alaskan U.S. taxpayers spend an average of $8500 per year on each and every resident of Palin's state. Her rhetoric is fodder for millions of Americans whose first instinct(when things get tough) is to whine and blame others for the failures(the French, Mexicans, the media, gays, ungrateful blacks soaking up tax money from welfare, prisons, etc.). And, can you imagine if a side-ways-cap-wearing Obama daughter showed up pregnant? The great defenders of Morality would get their knickers all twisted in a bunch. Palin never had a passport until 2007. She didn't sell that jet on eBay and sold it at a loss to taxpayers of $600,000. On and on and on. They all suck and they all lie, so, pick your cool-aid ladies and gentlement.

what does the home someone lives in have anything to do with this?
Ever hear the term "trailer trash", better yet do you ever watch cops? Watch cops sometime and look at where a majority of the calls are going and you will see a lot of "trailer trash". Now of course I am not saying everyone who lives in a trailer is that way because I know they are not but my reference to people in trailers had more to do with the fact that they don't have two nickels to rub together and yet they support republicans or most likely just like to try to stay on the winning side. Unfortunately they picked the wrong side in this case.

First, If you have been paying attention to news outlets other than Mother Jones, The Nation and Daily Kos you would know that most of this mess was started with Jimmah Cawtah. Then, the almighty Bill Clinton and the Dems at that point (with RINO Repubs) was taking heat from ACORN to let everyone purchase a home whether they were good for it or not: No down payments, job history and proof of income.
The economy is taking a hit because of policies that Dingy Harry Reid and queen bee Nancy Pelosi rammmed through their respective branches without proper debate and no chance for amendments to made. Most of this fouled gas prices and food prices going up can be traced to their policies and subsidizing our food to make "alternative fuel." Anyone that has been into buiding performance engine any amount of time knows that ethanol is a very inefficient fuel. It takes one and a half to 1 3/4 more of it to produce the same amount of horsepower.

Hello, Mcfly.... who signed the deregulations... You always accuse me a telling lies, and scare tactics.... Hello, who signed it?
Would you like a hint....
BTW does anyone here me on the Bush Ban-Wagon..... 3
Oh yea, if Bush has so much control, then why in the hell can't he get this bill pass.... WHO has controll.... HOUSE and SENATE.... And if you could read between the line, let me spell it out for you, obviously I don't agree w/Bush on this Bail out plan. There has to be a better option... So what does that make me. It makes me a person looking for the candidate that makes the most sense... If even in this election I would rather a little better choices, but IT IS WHAT IS.... I rather a candidate, such as McCain, that went against the Congression Rebulicans this week, and said, wait a minute, are you sure this is the best plan...
Look at McCain and Obamas Voting... Obama is 100% Democrat - In other words, no matter the Bill, it says Democrat, well by God I am going to pass it... McCain is about 65-70% Republican. Yes, he usually votes Republican, but at the least, he is willing to go outside party lines. But see that's not as deep as the average American want's go.... They will just follow their party line, and listen to the campaign adds, and go from there. And anyone who disagrees, well they are just some right-wing nut job..... Not realizing all along, they are making themselves look like some left-wing nut job....

Yes your right, the dems have been in control of the house and senate for less than 2 years. But for some reason a lot of the things I have mentioned seem to have started before the dems took control. Chero, why don't you just come out and say you think GW is doing a great job.

McCain is claiming to be the maverick who can bring the parties together. I admire the fact that he suspended his campaign on Wednesday in an attempt to convince the Repubes to work with the Dems to get a bail-out package done. But, less than 2 days later, he's apparently given up and flew to tonight's debate. If an agreement is soon made, he'll deserve some credit. If the next debate rolls around without a bail-out agreement, he's no maverick.

1st I will answer this.... then I will go back to fishy
What was McCain to do. Allow Barrack to stand there for 90 minutes and just have the floor to himself...
The point that McCain was TRYING to make, at a time when both parties need to come together, this ain't the time to debating. He asked Obama to put off the Debate until Monday or Tuesday, once this crisis was settled. Barrack made it clear he was not going to do that. So what, McCain is just suppose to stay in DC and let Obama have the floor.

Why does a "Fishaholic" move to a state that has no coastline?
Let me guess, based on your intelligence, you bought some ocean front property in Nevada on Ebay.
You should have gone ahead and moved over one more state and joined the rest of the fruits and nuts.

Since you can't answer the question I gave you, Clinton signed the deregulation...
We need a candidate that go BEYOND PARTY LINES, that does not vote or side on whatever party is voting which way. I do not think that Bush is end all of end all Presidents, surely we have had better, and we can do better. But I will say that Bush gets a lot of the blame for things that have gone wrong, and that is not fair. You have to look at the whole picture....
The bottom line is this. Party lines need to stop being drawn!!!!! Congress & Senate need to start voting on what make sense, and what is best for this Country, regarless of which party put the Bill in. That's all I am saying...
With this election, I would of LOVED to see Hillary get the Nomination, I really believe she brings alot more to the table than Obama. Honestly I feel people are going for Obama just because he ain't Republician, you honestly need to go MUCH DEEPER than that. You HAVE to look at the candidate.
Nobody, I mean Nobody, get's a little tick about what this guy has said, printed, and published. Nobody lookos at who this guy is affiliated with. All they care, oh, this ain't no GW... You have no idea what I even stand for. I certainly don't toe the party line of either party. If your remark about living on the coast has anything to do with offshore drilling then your wrong because I am all for it. For the most part I think we should drill anywhere within reason that we can.
You on the other hand can't even admit your party screwed up a whole lot of stuff in less than 8 years

No difference then when Clinton was president they blamed everything on him (and I don't remember everyone blaming the conservative media everytime something bad was said about Clinton) but there is a difference because the country was in pretty good shape when he left office after 8 years and we can't say the same about this a#$wipe......oooops I mean president.

I truly find Palin to be highly-attractive and intelligent, so, I've got an answer for Palin when she's asked why she'd had no passport until last year. She should tell them that she prefers to travel within the United States to see what this beautiful country has to offer instead of sending her money and the taxpayer's money overseas(to places like France and other countries). But, she should stop short of saying that those other countries don't do their fair share to help resolve the world's ills.

to answer a lot of questions, we are in war because bush isn't a PU$$Y. Clinton was too much of a bone smoker to go to war, instead he ran with his tail between his legs. It's not the end of the world, we are in a little pinch right now...the worst is yet to come. Do you really think Obama will fix everything? Your ignorant if you do...no president will "fix" everything, and this war is far far far from over. Just FYI
