Bill Maher said it best when he said he couldn't believe the Dems could fill 84,000 seats @ Invesco Field and wondered if the Republicans could fill a stadium with loud, screaming fans.  Then he remembered they did a few years back at the Superdome during Katrina.

Republicans had nothing to do with filling that stadium up with those people...it was the Dumb Azzes like Mr. Chocolate city and the Louisiana government  Roll Eyes...Bill Maher ha ha whoooo !! nuf said.....looks like You've been brushing up on the ol' liberal play book.. Grin....Funny how nobody had to send anything to the folks in the Iowa region when they lost most of their homes, jobs, cars in that recent tragedy/flood?Huh Billy Maher have anything to say about that??  Roll Eyes Tired old arguments......keep your glass ready because those dems. will be serving a whole lotta fruity koolaide over the next couple of months  Kiss
Must pull the Liberal card when someone dozen agree with right wing views. Is that your first play in your play book, can you come up with something a little more compelling. Regardless your scare tactics and the right wingers tactics are going to sway people to Obama.
Anyway's, McCain is supported by the same old greasy lobbyist that  backed Bush, so why the hell would anyone want to vote for more of that. Remember to pick a candidate that is not a corporate puppet of oil, insurance, halinburten etc, because American is being ruin over this. Angry
And the only reason McCain picked Palin for vice president is because she is a women. Basically showing political correctness and if I remember right someone here is against this "political correctness is killing our country" stuff. Grin
Vote Ralph Nader......... Cool

So it seems this has turned into a dead heat race between Palin and Obama, doesn't it?  The healthcare remark from Mcsame is kinda funny!  Healthcare-you know, aka insurance, has sucked since Bill and Hillary left office and if you can find an argument to that, then I might applaud you.  Taxes are necessary and if you believe in no more taxes, refer back to the douchebag's father that is currently in office that originally made that statement and enstated taxes a few months after his accepting presidency election.  They all lie, but the republicans cost us more!!!

Big D-that's a good picture and pretty impressive for a rasict f*^k!  If you think I'm pulling a race card refer back to your pic.

So you're saying the people in Iowa had no aid-go back and check the record.  Still receiving aid and yes you and I are still paying for it.  If the gov't is giving handouts, there are people that are going to take it, no matter what creed or color.  So let's move on!  Drive

What is going on around here!? I thought this was going to be a stimulating discussion about the possible VP Sarah Palin and yet I see an "off color" pic about senator Obama in a "Driving Miss Daisy" role?  Thank you apkkfx400 for speaking up and saying what needed to be said. I am glad to see that there are compassionate and intelligent people like you that still exist around here. I haven’t been coming on this board much lately because of all the nasty and hurtful things people do and say on this board. It’s one thing to disagree about someone because you may not believe in what they are saying or stand for, but to start talking about assassinating someone and posting things with so much racial undertone is so sickening and appalling. It has gotten so bad lately that I am honestly thinking about getting out of this sport all together. Everyone knows that it is much more fun to ride with fellow riders but honestly, how comfortable would someone feel if they knew the person or people that they met for a “group ride” actually hated them just because they were of a different race. I love this sport and love riding with new people regardless of their race, sex, or creed. I’ve always treated people with respect regardless of who they were but I am starting see that many people on here do not feel the same way I do and it is very disheartening.

The hate and fear expressed on this thread and other topics is acceptable because they all wear their helmets when riding ATVs! But, it's exactly the kind of attitudes that caused so many people to vote for Hillary and why so many will be voting Obama.

I can't vote for Obama simply because none of his plans make any sense and for the most part, are unworkable.

I wasn't a McCain fan either. However, for President, there really is no comparison. Obama isn't the man for the job.

Here's a good reason to vote for McCain over Obama. Obama's economic policy plans. These are facts, not opinions and you can even look them up on Obama's own website.

Obama proposes spending billions (that we don't' have) on infrastructure rehab ($60 billion) and green energy($210 billion). While this makes great sense in the long run, we simply can't afford it. When asked about this fact, Obama has no answer and quickly changes the subject.

Obama wants to do all that he can to strengthen America's unions so that they can "lift up America's middle class once again". Well, every economist agrees that Unions are quickly pricing themselves out of existence. Look at the layoffs all of the automakers implemented over the recent past because with Unions, you get less productivity at a higher price. Again, this simply doesn't make sense.

Obama wants to further subsidize college education. However, government subsidies only increase tuition over the long run. So, while it sounds great to would be voters to tell them he'll get the government to pay for college educations, it has a negative impact on cost over the long run.

Obama's tax plan within his economic policies are equally unbelievable. Granted, they sound GREAT to would be voters who don't understand the consequences. First, he says he wants to almost double the earned income tax credit and triple it for minimum wage earners. Also, he wants to establish a mortgage interest tax credit over and above that in place already. Yet, at the same time, these tax credits combined with the $65 billion expansion of health insurance and the plans discussed above come out to over $800 billion ($800,000,000,000.00)in cost to the tax payers. The higher proposed taxes on the rich (which he openly advocates despite the fact they already pay more than 85% of the tax in the US) can't cover this spending. So....guess who gets to pick up the tab? The already suffering and disappearing middle class. Again, this simply doesn't make economic sense.

Speaking of taxes, The Wall Street Journal took a hard look at Obama’s tax plan. They figure (as do countless other economists) that Obama's tax plan will mean a 52% income/payroll tax, 28% capital gains tax, 40% dividend tax, 40% personal income tax and a whopping 55% estate tax. If that doesn't make you sick, you need to take your pulse to see if you're not already dead.

You cannot expect to use government to drive the economy at the cost of free markets and capital. It doesn't work. History shows us on countless levels that this is a bad idea. Just look at your European nations that are growing. All of them are supporting capital, not taxing it to death. Again, this isn't opinion, it's cold hard fact available to anyone.

He proclaims that he wants to raise the taxes on the rich. What core group of citizens do you think he is trying to target with that empty promise? If you're to blind to see through his rhetoric than so be it but don't complain if he gets elected and you then see that all of his efforts are focused on the advancement of the lower income families or minorities alone. Oh,and don't complain when you start to see the after effects from his stance on the war and security in general. When you start to see an increase in terrorist attacks due to our throttling back it will be to late to fix it. If you truly feel he is the better candidate than vote for him but please don't vote for Obama because you think it's the popular thing to do or because you are anti republican. If experience and a back ground of defending our country alone isnt enough to sway you than you must have blinders on. Facts are facts people. Vote American.Vote McCain.

Confucius say's, If you take substract the 10 billion were spending in Iraq every month those numbers will look much better. Wink
You are the king of the big dummies. I'm talking about ending the war will save us 10 billion a month. 3 Stooges
