I've watched a lot of youtube videos on it and I think I'm going to make a Ghillie suit. But all the videos there where made of just pieces of died twine. What can I use to make it look a little more professional? Not real leafs and moss but fake stuff that wont make noise when hunting? So far I know I'm going to get suspender pants, mosquito net for face, some twine, burlap, and that I need to sew it on.

Can you guys think of anything else that would be use full?

Take light window screen and spray with camo colors in your own pattern. I use different leaves, pine needles, and branches. Get a roll of the screen. It's inexpensive and you'll have plenty to practice with.
Then cut it up into strips of your size choice and sew them on. Rough up the edges, too.
I would camo one side and let it dry. Then do the same to the other. It holds up really good and makes no noise.
You can use yarn for heavier patches. Tie pieces together in different lengths and thicknesses. Soak them in the paint and let them dry real good. They wind up looking like sticks and branches, but are quiet. You can also ball it up after the paint dries and attach like that.
Takes a long time and makes you wonder why you didn't just buy a suit. LOL! You'll get a lot of comment that are mostly good.

I just got done talking to my dad and he said we should cut up a orange vest and put little strips or squares into the mesh so its not just a blob.
Do you know of another way we could do this?

But think of all the fun you could have being *invisible*
I have woods in the back yard... I have an air soft m-15 and a paint ball gun...Think of all the possibilities!!!!!
Plus I live on a golf coarse...And an air horn!!!

I've killed a TON of deer. None of them in a ghillie suit. Usually in jeans and a t-shirt.

Theres no need to spend $100 on a ghillie... watch youtube, go to a hobby shop, and set aside 10 hrs and you'll be fine.
but really there not that hard at all. just time consuming.
