Hey guys, so its time to teach my little brother how to fish.. the problem is, all the places I used to fish dont have any fish anymore! Anybody know of some good ponds/lakes or whatever to catch some bass? Were in the Kendall area but I will travel around.. I dont want to take him out on the boat yet. Thanks guys

the only places i can find them are very hard to get to places in a boat on the st. johns or in private lakes. i cant even catch anyting in salt water in a boat anymore, much less from land. florida is fished out way too much.

the lakes around kendall are still loaded with fish, try the lakes around the golf course with live shiners if possible , big peacocks are fierce there this time of year

Golf Course fishing is usually productive. The course behind my house is 30 years old and is now closed. Back in the day they used to pump their fertilizer from a big tank into the lake and then use the sprinklers that were getting the water from the lake, to water the fairways and greens. What you end up with is some highly toxic fish. Do not eat fish from golf couse lakes.

I used to go out to this one lake on the course that had a huge fountain. I used a deep red artificial worm and would cast into the spray and pull out Bass untill I was bored. When I took my son, I did not get to fish because he kept me busy doing all the baiting and removing of the fish.

While riding your ATV on the Golf Course. Ride responsibility. You do not want to give ATV riders a bad name.

golf courses are always the best. your best chance is going to be a watermellon sead colored zoom trick worm. if you go out to a golf course lake in the morning with a trick worm your pretty much guaranteed some action...
