The Army Corps of Engineers has posted this Special Notice for proposed work in the Picayune Strand.  Notice that they are willing to spend up to $100,000,000.00 for this fiasco yet nobody seems to be able to provide the substitute riding area we were promised when we were kicked out.  Unbelievable waste of taxpayer's money.  Notice the capacity of the proposed pump station; 810 cubic feet per second (cfs).  That is a little over 6,000 gallons of water per second.  That is a huge amount of water; basically a standard swimming pool every two seconds!!
