can anyone help me to establish why my carborator pours fuel out of the overflow hose while I am wheelie-ing.  I understand that it should leak a little but nowhere near what it does.

Thank you [smiley=Confused.gif] [smiley=Confused.gif]

dreth, I seen you ride. you are lucky thats all its doing. but if it had not done it before. I guest, I will check the float level of correct height and the needle valve for damage.

look at a service manual for your carb, it should say what it should be set to in there.

When you are check your float level. check the needle for wear or dirt on the pointed side.

you bend the bracket. measure the space from the top base to the top of the float that your float height. the bigger the  space the less amount of fuel in the bowl. Good luck

did you change your jet setting before it started leaking fuel ? if so did you change the gasket on the bowl? If no, that maybe your leak. aslo went you check height on the float you hold the float up till the needle hits. Let me know what happens

ya, i leak fuel out when i do a wheelie or stand it up on end, but if u are standing it up on end to clean it or somthin like that then u should turn the gas off so only the gas in the float bowl can leak out  Wink

it's Mormal .... BUT.......................
if your running "pump" gas ....  it won't matter ...
But Like BIG-DADDY Say's ... "float-level" ...
bend the tab up a bit .... but ... it will still leak some
