mud bugs or gators they are the same tire with different names
i had em on my recon and a freind of mine has em on her rancher[i think their 25's] they are decent all around tires
if you want mud only tires[sucky trail riding tires] go with vampires or outlaws

I'd have to say Swamplites as well. I owned Mudlites and they di good but were squirmy in sand. Swamplites do very well in sand, mud, climbing, etc. I've ridden witha  guy on a 500 Foreman many times that has 27" SL's and he does very good in the mud, sand and water. I'd prefer Outlaws but SL's are a good choice for an all around tire.

By the way, a 420 can push 26"s just fine. 27"s start to lose a little power but with a pipe and air filter you'd be back in the game.

I would go with the Swamplites... It's the best all around 6-ply tire for any terrrain at a great price. I can't recommend them enough.

Best answer, go with 26 inch. Dirt Devils or Mud lites are a good tire also
