what year was the 1st year they gave titles to all atvs
and how do i go about gettin a new one if i lost it ?

Do not know the 1st year, but if you lost one your local tag agengy can issue you another one.  If you pay like an additional $27 they will issue it right there and you dont have to wait for them to mail one.

which one did you lose? i think 03 was the first year on dirt bikes so i assume they are the same. we had a 02 we bought from my cousin and he said it did not come with a title but all the 03s weve ever had were titled.

I was told and actually had the paper somewhere but any atv made after july1, 2002 needed a title and/or proof of previous registration with a bill of sale. Anything before that all was needed was one of the following:1. a bill of sale 2.Proof of registration 3. a title. Now i know that dont really answer your question but if your wondering about how to get a title or transfer one then there you go.

true, July 02 is when they started titles
