I have been there now for 2 feature rides. I can only say that it is definitely the
BEST
riding spot in Florida...period!
I have 2 kids & they cant wait to go everytime.
IMHO the plex experience brings families closer together with each other & other families that have good values as well.
The kids & the family atmosphere at the plex make it awesome. There are no strangers at the plex.
Everyone is eager to help & introduce themselves. I met a lot of new faces this past weekend.
I know I will support the plex in any way I can.
I am a Plexer for life.
(BTW, Paul that would make a cool bumper sticker or helmet sticker)
All I can say is if you havent been, you have no idea what you are missing!
If you go once you will be hooked & actually limit your riding during the month so you can make afford to make the feature rides once a month. I know I have & many others have as well.
I hope some of this story will help you gain a clearer view of how I view the FLORIDA ATV MOTOPLEX.
Thanks for asking.

This place is AWESOME ! Can't wait to get back there ! there is something for everyone from one way fast trails, two way trails, MX, and extreme ute areas, even a great kids track. There's no other place that gives you all the variety like that in one location, not to mention all the great people you meet there. It's not just a riding spot, it's a community. The features are a great added feature. Races, contests, events, and food keep it new every time you go.
A special thanks to Paul and Matt for doing a great job up there and investing so much time and hard work to give us a place to ride and hang out. Instead of just complaining about having no place to ride Paul stepped up and made a place for us. Thanks again Paul !
If you ride, you've got to check out the Motoplex

I rarely give recommendation's for anything let alone an ATV park. But I will tell you after draggin my feet for awile and bitchin about how much it is gonna cost me in gas and food etc.... I made the little trip in January and I swear like Greenmachine said I'll save my money ridin local so I got plenty gas money for them awesome feature weekend's where you meet new friends and old and cant help but have the most fun ever, just got back from the February feature weekend and lookin forward to March. I literally have nothing bad to say about the experience, but I have plenty bad to say about the local riding. Until you visit you wont know what your missin

it's better than I could ever describe here, but I'll tell you what I tell everyone I meet about it.
I have a 1200SF home with A/C, two refrigerators, water heater, full bathroom and sitting on two acres that is about 200' from the forest line in Ocala National Forest, and all of this is 72 miles from my front door in Orlando.
Now, the MotoPlex is 210 miles from my front door in Orlando, I have to sleep in my trailer that leaks when it rains with the obvious lack of amenities all to myself when going camping.
I have made it to all of the feature weekends so far and am planning on making the next.
I've only been to Ocala once since August of last year and that was to mow the yard.

I can say that I agree 100% w/ what has been said here. I have been to all but one Motoplex (MP) weekend. I have had an absolute blast every time. The ppl there go out of their way to make sure everyone has an opportunity to jump in and join the MP family. There is something for everyone and while I'm just getting into riding MX and I don't have an MX bike yet. Someone has put me on one of their MX bikes and others that have more experience have gone out and coached me while I've been out there. When my quad as well as many others go down someone is always willing to stop riding and drop everything to get the bike running again. And if it doesn't run....someone is always willing to loan a quad out so that no one misses out on any of the fun. The ppl out there are all willing to give anything they can to ensure that everyone has a great, safe, fun, and family oriented time.
Beyond the riding, the ppl and the kids make the motoplex an incredible experience. I have a camp w/ my own cabin and most amenities. I have over 100 friends out there that I ride w/. Yet I would rather take time away from my close spot and save up to make it to the motoplex special event weekends. They are that much fun!

Hands down the best Riding park in the state of Florida! I like it better than Durhamtown . During the event weekends the events are a blast to watch and participate in. The people are great there and you will meet more new friends in one place than you ever have before. It is better than a family atmosphere there. You actually become one of the family, the plex family! no place like it anywhere.

I have been to the Motoplex every month since its creation. From where I live, it is about a 4 hour drive and very well worth the driving time. The MP is like no other riding area I have been to. Sure, there are trails, sand, tracks, and mud holes in a lot of places but I am talking about the caliber of people that ride there.....NO COMPARISON to other areas. As many others have written, the MP riders are more like family. Everyone I have met are stand up people and can be trusted. They go out of their way to assist others in any way they possibly can. It is very evident that we care about one another. The MP is a must!!

Any technical hills or anything like that out there? Anyone have an opinion between the plex and croom? Keep in mind I ride a mx bike and whoops are not a prob. I actually like them for getting me fit.

There was a small pit of hills with a few verticals walls but it has since become a play pit with mud. I know there was talk of making a new Hill area but i can tell you this:
Croom a few decent hills and a bunch of woops
Motoplex no real hills (for now), no woops in the trails, sweet HS trail(s), Awesome track, and some kick A$$ mud trails (coming from a sport bike rider) THANKS MP!!
Croom is a hour drive for me but i choose the plex as its more fun!!

If you ride MX you will love the MX track at the Plex. On par with most any track in Fl.

Been to the Plex multiple times now and it is THE riding spot in Florida IMHO. I can't say enough about the "family" of riders that ride there. It's a definite must for everyone to check out at least once. You won't be sorry if you do. There's something for everyone one there. Hope to see ya there next time!

Ive been once and it sucks! The owner is a dirt bag and all the patrons wont give you the time of day. The trails stink. The tracks are junk. The mud holes are worthless. I wont ever go back!!!
So I didnt stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night
The Plex is the best all around riding experience and Im not just saying that because Paul slipped me a 20 spot

I have been twice and had fun both times. There is a good variety of terrain that will suite most people's riding styles. The attention to family riding is appreciated having a small child. Everyone helps everyone and no one is ever left behind! I have my local spots that I love to ride, but the feature weekends are worth the longer drive. You can't beat the prices that Paul charges for 3 days and 2 nights of camping, organized events, rides and kids activities. The location in Madison is great for folks from FL, GA, AL and further. Check out their website for pictures, videos and more!

It's not really fair to compare places, come out and ride, it's different, and you will definately have fun.
If it turns out you prefer Croom, that still don't mean it's not cool to ride somewhere else from time to time.

If you come up, it's not that far from sw fl it takes under 4 hours from Venice (I go there often). Make sure you come on a feature weekend, they are much more fun than a regular weekend.

There are 2 campgrounds, 5 miles to the north.
www.jellystoneflorida.com
& the other one is the Deerwood Inn (850) 973-2504
Would love to see you anytime, but per the post above, our feature weekends have a bunch of fun events, night riding and free on site camping.
The next feature weekend will be March 21st-24th, we will be having a hot wings themed pot luck dinner Saturday after our trophy presentations. On Easter sunday, we are having an Easter Egg Hunt too.
Here is a link to the flyer:
http://www.floridaatv.com/images/misc/Event_Flyer_Mar_21.pdf
FYI the park is going to be closed to regular use on the weekend prior (March 15th). That is going to be the start of our gncc styled race series. Here is a link to a flyer for this race.

Me and a friend of mine found this place in October, it does have a little bit of everything, it suits ALL riders from an expert to the first day on a bike, the guys who ride trails say they love them, the MX tracks, the smaller one is perfect for kids and beginners, the main track is excellent, small enough to be enjoyed by the novice rider, big enough for the expert to wear himself out and catch some great air. The ute trails, mud drags, and mud pitts are unbelievable since the place is on a swamp.
I have been there many, many times, but the feature weekends are a thing not to be missed, the people and the atmosphere is surpassed by none, everybody does everything to help and share all of there things and see to it that ALL have a good time. The children that come there would rather return for the next event then go to Disney... By the time the next feature weekend arives there are some kind of changes, so the park is consistantly improving, the staff couldn't be better and are on top of everything. The events are coordinated perfectly and all have a great time... never have I heard a complaint from anyone.
You will find me there until the government bans atv's all together... at that point I will help them build a dome over the place and ride in the black!!!
GO TO THE PLEX!!!!!

The plex as everyone has said is the bomb.
Paul and Shawn have made the plex a riders Paradise.
We consider the plex our Home base riding spot since it opened. If you have not been you need to go its addicting. The plex is the place memories are made off.
Our kids race allover the state and in Georiga and next time you see one of the kids ask them their favorite place to ride. (answer) The Motoplex.

I have been going to the Motoplex since it opened in August of 2007. I have not missed a feature weekend yet. And don't plan on EVER missing one. I can honestly say that if for some reason my ATV broke down and was out of commission I would still go to the Motoplex feature weekends just for the "fun factor" of it. I have such a blast there that on my way home I am already missing the place and can't wait to go back. The night rides at the plex are second to none!! Everytime I come back Paul has added something else to the place and makes it even better. Oh yeah this place even has HOT SHOWERS!! Please do yourself and your family a favor and go check out one of the Motoplex's "feature weekends" and I promise you that you will NOT be disappointed!!! MOTOPLEX OR BUST BABY!!!!!!

Wet
No good at all for sport bikes, but for utes it was the best riding you could imagine. Flooded trails, ponds, mud, swamps.
We have our race this weekend (we have plenty of dry trails now), then it should be a perfect balance for sports and utes for our feature weekend march 21st-24th.

Ive been once and it sucks! The owner is a dirt bag and all the patrons wont give you the time of day. The trails stink. The tracks are junk. The mud holes are worthless. I wont ever go back!!!
lol, thats the first bad thing I have heard about the place, other than how far it is from where i am.You just a rudeass person or did you have a bad time there for real?I have never been there.
So I didnt stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night
The Plex is the best all around riding experience and Im not just saying that because Paul slipped me a 20 spot
