depending on wether its an EX or LX  its going to be a d16z6 or d16y8 im pretty sure. it will be a d-series single cam motor.
check the fuse its in the fuse box in the engine bay. takes 30 seconds to look.
how many miles?
its a civic so i cant say too many things would be wrong with it specially  being a 99.

IMO having a new tranny is a good thing. run it hard  and shift quick to make sure it doesnt grind going  into gears. thats the first sign of abuse on honda tranny's lol

mine is a 1994 with 182k with original motor and runs like new Smiley its just breaking in. haha

wow thats a really good price. it does look like it needs paint but for $1,500 thats not bad at all. looks pretty solid. but idk about that hood being carbon fiber . looks like a stock hood primered black to me.
id do it....

BTW-seeing its an EX. its a sohc Vtec.

it SHOULD have the d16y8 if im not mistaken. not 100% sure on that though

i personally wouldnt go wth a car that has work done to it, let alone a civic on cut springs the ride will be rought as hell

BTW im not a honda fan so no positive info will come from me other than the fact that if it was stock u would get good gas milage, also how are the cops in your area about harassing "race cars"

ehh i would run and never look back. Why do you need a stage 3 clutch on a stock single cam engine? To get the tires to chirp in 2nd? If you want a civic i would go with a stock one and lower it and such yourself. It's not that expensive to do and you'll know whats really been done to it.

I dont hate on civic's. i just hate on the people that rice them out. They are a lot of fun to beat the piss out of because they take the abuse. As a performance car though i wouldnt ever build a honda.

hey, dont hate on the vdubs!  Angry
