If they happen to drop in and they do fom time to time be ready for a ticket if your parked at 5A and have a ATV. A "house cleaning" is comming soon.......I'll try to warn when I get the word from my friends on the SO. A"house cleaning" is the Brevard and Volusia County SO are planning to block BOTH ends of 5A on several weekends and run the helocopters......soon. They are tired of the property owners complaints about trash, stolen vehicles and worried about liability issues.
I ride responsible and always pack more trash out than I take in,but I do not want to get caught up in a sweep of all the dirtbags out there.A heads up to when they do this would be great, either in this tread or by pm.Thanks

Well this sucks. We planned to go riding out there this weekend but god knows I cant afford any tickets with the gas prices and economy the way they are.

That will be another place closed down,  Sad 520 & 50 was shut down the other week. Honestly ya can't blame them, I saw a few people driving with a beer in one hand and a kid on the back. Angry And they will be the first to whine.

I'm up for heading to Big Scrub or something this weekend - DBCC would be better cause its closer, but at least with BS I dont have to worry about tickets, lol. I'm in Orange City BTW.

I think I'll head to Big Scrub too with my son. Do you need reservations to camp and do they have showers there?

planning on going in the morning.does anybody know if the cops will be out this weekend also.It is not fenced or posted.I do not know the police can tell who is a land owner and who isn't.I always bring a extra trash bag and pick up a little.
