I just saw this on the prc forum.


"The U.S. Forest Service wants to close 60%-80% of trails open to off roading. Here is a link to a petition you can sign if you want your voice to be heard. They need 50,000 names. Pass it along..." Wink

Where are these trails that they want to close down?

Petition schmition, organize and make appointments with your county commissioners. Or do I need to hit you over the head the solution???
You all want trails and parks. I have told you what needs to be done. Now just do it. If you want the state to handle EVERYTHING, sit back and keep on waiting. Doesn't anyone on this forum have a backbone or some organizational skills? We need at least 10 people (or more) who can organize a group of families in as many different counties. Take them to the commissioners and make your case. Most counties have land. You are a voter and they are elected. Get in their face and plead your case. The state will look at it and work with the county to make a park. It won't happen overnight and maybe not for a couple years, but you have to start somewhere. Start today.
