very good score.  anything over 1300 is considered acceptable when I graduated in 98.  1300 and a good GPA would get you into any Florida College.  Congrats, I could only mustard up a 1270, but I smoked the ACT with a 29.

That's pretty impressive.  I got a 1200 on my SAT.  I sucked at the verbal, but did well on the math part.  You will have not problem getting into any Florida college if you have a good GPA.  With a good GPA, you will be eligible for the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship which pays for 75% - 100% of your tuition.  If you get a scholarship to the college you go to, and you get the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship, they could potentially be paying you to go to school.

Sorry man but either your einstein or your counting all 3 of your scores.   Iknow It is kinda of confusing.  At first i thought it was all 3 combined too, so when people asked me what i got, i said 1470.  They were all like damm, are your going to harvard?  I answered nah yale.  The past couple of years they have changed the scoring to include a writing essay.

But anyways most florida colleges just count your reading and math.  But I would double check on that.  In that case my highest score yet was a 1040, which is alright.

You're right, what I really got was a 1360. I guess I didn't do too good on the writing lol.

Seriously Jesse, if the rest of your college application (school grades, extracuricular, etc.is up to par with your SAT scores, you can get in to the best schools in the country.  Your on par with the top 5% or so.  Scholarship money should be easy to get.  good job
