I have a 2006 yfz(blue) that i want to sell, I still owe around 3,600$ payments are 117.00$ a month. Reason for selling is i have a 07ltr and cant afford both Cry. I dont think trusting someone to take over the payments will work. So where do i start? Yfz is stock w/ blingstar ironman nerfs and powermadds.

1) the buyer trusts you to mail him/her the title when it arrives in your name. You have to make a bill of sale & have it notarized, this protects the buyer.

2) go to place of finance get them to apply for enough credit to buy it & sign over the loan to them legally.

usually the first one is the most used.

Whatever you do make sure before the quad goes that it's out of your name with DMV as well. Just because you give someone a bill of sale or sign the title over doesn't mean it's not legally still in your name. I had a friend who sold a car like that and the girl hit someone else and he was responsible for all damages. Lost his license and all kinds of stuff because the people sued for like 400k.

Anytime I sell a vehicle or trailer I go to the tax collectors office and when we leave it's no longer mine in any way.
