Not a scam. I got 3 of them and my go-ped goes like 200mph now, and uses no fuel. It actually makes fuel as a drive!
(yes it's a scam.... Look at the picture, it's a project box with two wires coming out.)

I'd like to see the install instructions on them. Not even a custom dyno tune with a programmer is going to give a Grand Marquis 45 HP.
A easy trick on some Mustangs is to remove the IAT sensor and loop the the two wires with a particular resistor. That fools the ECU into thinking it's 30* outside. This in turn tells the ECU to not pull any timing that it normally would when it's 80* outside. Thus giving you more power. People were selling boxes online a while back that plugged into that IAT sensor and calling them chips but it was nothing more than a resistor or multiple resistors (to simulate different temps). Thing is some ECUs will ignore the IAT sensor if the temp doesn't vary enough or is out of range for too long. It's really something for use at the track for short periods of time not for a daily driver and it really just makes sure you get full power out of your vehicle. That may be what this is.

But if something is advertised to do something and doesn't work...doesn't that make it a scam?
Of course spitfire still sells spark plugs and the tornado can be bought and they don't do anything either but aren't labeled as scams.

It's a sensor bypass. It just tells your car it's running cooler than it actually is. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. Bad part is, your car will burn mad fuel. If you don't have proper mods, it can damage your engine in the long run. There's no cheap way to high performance.
If you want high performance, you have to pay for it.
