around 3 this morning i heard a car driving around the block. i figured it was the newspaper guy. boy was i wrong! it was the break into your truck and steal your tools guy!! normally i dont load tools into my truck until the morning. but last night i did. plus 2 of my neighbors got hit also. dont leave your tools in your truck if you live in the new port richey area. looks like these guys are on a roll. they even stole my neighbors soda that he had in his screen porch. thirsty bass-turds. if i catch them, i'm not going to tell anybody. they will just go away. bye bye NYRAPTOR

That sucks.  My dad had to switch over to a van for his work cause of this crap.

His old pickup would have crap stolen out of it all the time.  A neighbor down the street would walk down, and just help himself to wood, pipe, tools, etc... without even consulting my dad.  Go to a job site the next day and stuff he needed would be missing.

Dangit man, I'm sorry to hear about this John. How much did you lose? Can you at least work today or do you have to buy all new tools first?

Really sorry to hear about your loss and I hope the scumbags are caught.  My truck was recently broken into but my motion sensor flood lights came on and scared the shitbag off.  Probably best because I was sneaking around the house with my 9MM ready to make some noise.  They still broke out my window but didn't get a chance to steal anything.  I hate thieves.....

thanks guys. i was able to work that day cause they left my handtools. but as far as any construction goes they took four different drills, circular saw, two finish nail guns, and my gps bracket. my truck is a quad cab so i put the stuff in the back with the seat folded up. they busted the passenger side window and the alarm never went off. the worst part is, i was up feeding one of the babies at 3 and heard them driving around. they didn't get my compressor and my tool box weighs like 70 lbs so they left it. also they didn't get my sawzall. but they got enough. i walked around the house everytime i had to feed the babies this morning with my billy club just in case they decided to come back. now comes the hard process of replacing tools. thanks again guys. did i say babies? john and emma. happy flippin new year!

Not every man feeds a baby at 3am. Most do, but not all.

Send me a pm of what you may need, and I`ll reply if I have any Wink

You obviously do not know John. He would get much more pleasure by beating them into submission with a club. Grin

thank you very much dyno. i replaced two drills and just making the best of it. trying to get each tool through each job i do.

as for a shotgun i agree, but like mike said, i would rather watch them suffer a painfull beating then to die instantly. i'm out every morning at 3 am. lights out! you cant steal tools with broken legs! Grin

Set em up, give em something they cant resist.  Snare em cut em up, tie frozen chicken to the parts, feed em to the gators. They just cant resist that chicken and thief ( the other white meat) surprise. Seriously , there is no lower form of living matter on the planet as someone who takes your ability to make a living. I hope everything works out for you. Hey at least you have some work to go to.

You may want to check the local pawn shops and see if anything on the shelf looks like yours.

Ussually they are acctually dumb enough to do that so you might want to look. Everything in a pawn shop has a record of who brought it in.
