Full length. Make no mistake, They are loud, Louder than any 2 into 1 into 2 with flowmasters but they could be louder if I had flowmasters.

I got mine in Tampa at United speed world and I don't remember what I paid for them. A place called Raindow muffler on 38th Ave and 28th St installed everything for a couple hundred bucks but this was 4-5 yrs ago.

Raven mufflers if you can find them. They don't cost a lot and they are quieter than flowmaster. They sound great. Kind of an old school hot rod sound.

ok, get some headers, and a universal magnaflow cat and a magnaflow muffler and have it put on. thats what im gonna do. maybe without the headers. theyre $500. but the universal cat and muffler arent that much at all and you can have the economy muffler guy put them on with rolled ss tips. you cant get a much better sound than my tundra had.

why in the world would anybody buy a magniflow universal high flow cat? you know whats even higher flow... no cats at all. and on an 88 the 02 senser is before the cats so you wont get a service engine light or anything, even with true dauls and headers and all. i have true dauls with shortie headers, no cats, h pipe and 2 flowmaster 40 muffler.
heres a clip

if you want it quite, get true daul 50 series. my 40s arent realy that loud because the tips are out the back corners, if you turn em down it makes it 2x as loud.

raven? thats an offbrand, just because some random hillbilly on fullsize chevy has one dosent mean its a good muffler. if you like the mellow sound of a glasspack, thats up to you but dont get some offbrand cheepo like raven or dynomax or anything like that. whats your user name on fullsize chevy?

o and why no flowmaster? and that cold air intake is good becaue it picks up air from the iner fender wich is basicly cold air from behind the headlightes and grill. all the other kits have open element filters that just suck up all the blazing hot air off of your headers.

When ever you open up a filter to let more air in,your going to let more dirt in.My silverado has 210,000 miles on it and has a k&n in it since new but thats my own opinion. Andy

ya i heard that flowmaster has bafflers that hurt your low end torque
also im not saying k+n is bad i had one on my f150 along w/ true dual flowmasters but ive just heard some reports of k+n letting dirt in if you go offroad
i dont have a screenname yet i will be making one though shortly and it will be backwoods boy

baflers? baffles produce back pressure wich makes low end torque. no backpressure meens that your truck will be gutless down low and make more power up top(glasspacks) and k&ns may let dirt in if you dont ever cleen them but i doubt you will ever have a problem from runing a k&n.

flowmaster makes more botom end than magnaslow and they sound way more agressive, glasspacks are way to mellow sounding, but some people like that... basicly if your runing  no cats, than you need backpressure(flowmaster), if your runing cats than you can get away with a glasspack and still have botom end power but it wont sound good imo. nothing will outperform true dauls with no cats and flowmater 40s. also dont go to big pipe. 2.25 or 2.5 is more than enough for true dauls, 3-3.5 for a single. if you go to big you will loose botom end power from less backpressure. if your hung up on geting a glasspck than your beter off with a singe system with your stock cat and have good lowend power, but if you want a real exhaust system like true dauls than you need flowmaster.

hey, you know what, i have a flowmaster 50 series that bolts on cat back with 3.5" pipe with a single in dual out muffler with turn down tips right after the muffler which is right before the rear fender. the 50 is a quieter muffler but the turndowns make it about as loud as my 40s out the back corners.it sounds real good, beter than any bolt on magniflow system. it fits 88-95 chevy trucks and is in good shape. ill sell it for 150$. i used to run it with a guted cat and it sounded realy good.
