Need opinions on this, can't decide.  Plastic factory heel plates have broken on the kfx-actually they've been broken and I'm kind of torn in between getting just the aluminum heel plates rather than the nerf bars with integrated heel plates.  Not positive at this time if I need nerf bars-what are some of the benefits?  The other issue is, I would have to buy the seperate alum. heel plates from kawasaki directly which are $175 and the nerf bars with heel plates range from $170-$350.  I appreciate any tips.

I would go with AC racing nerf's w/heel guards... they look good, perform well and won't cost as much as if you were to buy the nerfbars and the heel guards seperatly... Grin

Just remember that if your foot is much bigger than a size 11 the heal guard may get in the way.

Benefits of the nurfs:  Foot dont go to the ground when it slips off the pegs.  Helps keep other quads from coming in on you and getting tangled up.

I think they should be one of the first things you put on your Quad along with a kill switch.
