never really cared for doing them before, but now that I have the power to do them at will,,,,,,any tips?
I noticed in a lot of vids people tend to go on asphalt a lot for the wheelies,,,,I assume thats for more control and a smooth surface,,,,,suggestions?

If you like doing wheelies buy a honda. I own a predator and can stand it up just fine, but i can take my sons 400 Ex and stand it up and shift thru 4th gear and never set it down. those are the best balanced bikes I have ever rode. and I get to ride alot of differant bikes because I repo every thing they make.

I agree with Predatorwild. The 400ex is a great wheelie machine. The bike is very well balanced and has enough power to keep the front end up but is manageable enough to prevent anything unpredictable from happening.(At least most of the time.) The thing I miss most about my 400 is the wheelie riding. Not to knock any other machine for their wheelie capabilities because I have not exactly done a field study on all bikes, just adding my $.02 about the 400.

The rear brake allows you to control the wheelie,Its a must when you are doing slow wheelies

I've been told that my bike wheelies really well but I've never actually done it myself. I have only owned it for two months now but I'm gettin brave so I'm gonna have to strap on my helmet and see what I can do haha. I'll let you guys know how it turns out. If you dont hear from me for a few days call for help!

And here is one on a raptor 350..
My son is not that good with the clutch yet and was asking how i did them.. He said that the kfx 700 is easyer than the raptor 350.. So i had to show him it is just as easy...
Just have to learn the clutch..

bahhh those are just power wheelies.
wait till this kid shows everyone how to do it right. I been rollin these babies for 400-500 yards. haha j/k pretty far though. Got the 2nd gear wheelies down. got the one handers down. Flamingos. Highchairs, supermans, no handers. just playin chris. Chris just have your son practice a lot. Is he scared to go back on the grab bar? If so. Tell him to just practice revving it high so he goes onto it and practice using the rear brake. your son have aim?

does he or you have any kind of messenger? ex: AIM, AOL, Yahoo, MSN? hit the garb bar a lot and the fear will go away. Dont be scared. It wont flip. I was scared at first too but now its over. Did the whole htting the garb bar thing. Now i got quite a few tricks down and the 2nd gear down.
