Are they suprised they haven't had a good quad turnout?  Last I heard quads were banned from the whole place because of "insurance reasons".  I should get my money back for the membership I paid for a month before quads were kicked out.  The FTR MX series doesn't even go there this season and I heard that last season, quads weren't allowed to practice the day before the race... just race Sunday on a track that some people have possibly never ridden before...? That sounds risky to me.  I'd love to be able to ride the main track again and I'd go all the time if quads were allowed, although they probably wouldn't be happy to see me since I was one of the riders taken out in an ambulance.  Fun track though - tell them they should open it back up for quads.  Then their turnout will get better.

WE USE TO RIDE THE TRACK ALL THE TIME ALSO BEFORE THESE LAST OWNERS TOOK IT OVER.THEN THEY SAID WE COULD ONLY RIDE THE SAND TRACK OUT BACK.FIRST THEY SAID QUADS WERE TO SHORT AND THE 2-WHEELER COULDN'T SEE US OVER THE JUMPS.THEN THEY SAID IT WAS TO HARD TO FIX THE TRACK AFTER WE RODE,AND THEN THE INSURANCE THING...I THINK IT JUST BECAUSE OF 2-WHEELERS CRY ABOUT US QUADS.I GUESS THE 2-WHEELERS GET UPSET WHEN THEY SEE A QUAD THATS FASTER THEN THEM.I REMEMBER WHEN WE WASN'T WELCOME AT DADE CITY,BUT LOOK AT US NOW............

Hmm.  I wonder how I missed that...  (Was it a TBA on the initial schedule or something?)  So the Hardrock FTR race will be on a completely different track from the main one or did they add to it?
Any word on quads getting back on the main track for practice days or nights?  I guess Wednesday nights would be asking too much... those were the good ol' days though... all three of them...

Couldn't the people running FTR do something about it if riders are going to be treated with bias and endangered?  I seriously find it unsafe to blindly race on a track that hasn't been practiced and I probably won't do it.  If a protest is made by not showing up nobody is going to care (or they'll be glad).  There aren't near enough quads to create an impact on the money that Hardrock makes and half the quads are going to show up anyways to benefit in points.  If I was in a close points race, I'd go.  So the only way Hardrock would pay any attention is if FTR said, "Hey, we aren't putting you on our schedule again next season since you're creating an unsafe situation for some of our members."  I doubt that Hardrock wouldn't care about that since the track can't possibly make much money during the year on practice days.  The tracks only care about profit.  Other than that, what kind of protest are you considering?  I can't say that I like to "stir things up" and drawing any negative attention to quads only makes people hate us more...

Hardrock SUX!   I called to talk to them about practice. They said the quads could use a track they have out back. I asked if the track was groomed ever. Of course he told me "no. We don't groom THAT track, but it not all whooped out either" It's so nice of them to let us pay them to ride on an old worn out track.

I have a house for rent. It's falling apart and it has dog turds on the floor.(I don't pick them up) The price is negoitable, If you'll give me some money, you too can come stay there. Come one come all. Tell your friends

I am a partial fan of Hardrock. But I do undertand there reasoning. Do the quads tare up the track?? Yes I have seen it first hand with bikes riding at Hardrock and quads riding at Hardrock.

So whats this mean to a track??
More maintance
Only 3-8 quads show up anyways when they have over 30+ bikes.(who would you cater to?)

I see complaints about "all they wanna do is make money" Well your right thats how some of these people make a living by providing a track for us to ride on. If you think these tracks are cheap think again. Insurance alone will kill you.

Trust me I am a quad rider and I have ridden Hardrock on just about everything. And wish they would allow quad there full time. They are allowing us to use 2 tracks. And I bet if we get enough of a turn out then they will allow us to maybe use the main track on a limited basis.

Lets not slam a place that allows us a riding opportunity, lets work together(including the track) and see if we can work out something that we can all be happy about.

I understand that there is a low quad turn out.But the track also needs to understand that most of us live 100 miles plus away and I'm not going to drive that far to ride on a sand track. If thats the case I would go to a sand track by my house. My point is the main track makes Hardrock"Hardrock".And when you get 6 miles to a gallon pulling a trailer its just not worth it.I remember back in the day when 7-8 of us would load up and ride there.Maybe someone should see if they would let us ride one weekend a month?
