Saltsdale December 18th Drag Races!!!!

300 feet? any time slips? Hows the sand?  Is it like Ortona, thick? What kinda lights do you guys have?  Im just trying to get an idea what to expect. Do we get any warm up runs? Is there a Tech to check bikes over?

225 feet, no time slips, sand is thick, the cut it about 3 inches the night before, so it soaks up some horsepower at the beginning of the day, but it gets fast quick, the light are basically a stage light, then 2 yellow lights and a green light, the light drop with .5 second intervals between them.  i check  your bike over if it is your first time.

haha, your gonna $hit when I tell you where i hunt.  I hunt on a lease in baxley that is where the camp is.  I hunted on a plot just off of road 144 east of baxley, and i hunted on a plot in hazlehurst.  It was the land right behind the mayor of hazlehurst house where the railroad tracks cross the road to where the power lines cross the road all the way back over to the hazlehurst golf course.  I asked a few locals from baxley about sand drags, but they have never heard of them.  Looks like I will be hunting in that lease next year, so might get a few chances to race up there next year.  Where exactly are the sand drags from the golf course?

Meth, its way better than Ortona its all heads up no time slips double elimination. The lights are way better than the traffic signal they use in Ortona. The track is dirt, not really sand, but not that muck either. They till it the day before so its is pretty loose. I dont know if you remember talking to me in Ortona or not I ride a white yfz with a chopped down stock pipe. The Saltsdale crew puts on a great race and all the racers are cool. Come on up.

hey smoke if you hunt close to the golf course in hazlehurst you're about 6 to 8 miles from the track 341 dirt drags.

haha, nextel does not work up there.  I had a heck of a time trying to get it to work.  I will give ya a call next time I am up there.

cool the big deer are telfair county thats where the record was killed.but give me a call and i'll meet you somewhere and take out to the track.hell bring you're bike and i might get some practice runs.
