can i put a 24x10-10 tire on a rim that has  22x7-10 tire on it now?
or is that rim too skinny?

NO, tire is too wide. The tread would look like a balloon & the tread pattern would be rounded off instead of flat. That tire would also probably rub the shock.

i flipped the rim around so it wont hit the shock. its on a golf cart.

recreation tire wheel has everything you need as well as a bolt pattern lookup. If the wheel is off a honda or suzuki sport quad, it has a 4/144 pattern. Also you can find good deals on ebay sometimes, but look closely.
