Saturday, November 3rd, Thunderbowl Speedway will be having a TT money race. This will be an outlaw race and will not be AMA or ATVA sanctioned.

There are several pro and pro/am riders from the TT nationals coming down for this race. There are also several riders coming for all of our other regular classes such as Vets, Youth, Intermediate, Pee Wee, etc. There may be some additional classes added as well.

There will be two Open/Pro classes. OPEN and PRO PRODUCTION. Both classes will pay out, but the Open class will have at at least $1,000.00 to pay out.
The Open/Pro Classes will cost $50.00 per class to enter, and will have 80% payback in both classes.

There will be another Adult Mini Quad race.

There will be at least one knobby tire class.

There may be and additional Flat Track money race as well, stay tuned.

There will be no points for the Thunderbowl Maximum TT Series at this race. The points race will be re-scheduled.

Maybe I am not reading this right. Is it 1,000 pay out for the open class or is it 80% pay back. I might have to try this one out.

I've had several questions, so here's a few details for clarification.

The ONLY TT classes that will pay out are the OPEN and PRO PRODUCTION classes. These classes cost $50.00 each to enter. The payout for both classes will go from 1st through 3rd place.
The payout is based on entries. The OPEN class will have at least $1000.00 to payout, regardless of how many entries there are. If there a large number of entries in the OPEN class, then the payout will increase. The PRO PRODUCTION class will be a straight 80% payout, based on the entry fees.

Definitions:
OPEN CLASS- Any bike, any frame, any motor.
PRO PRODUCTION- 4 stroke only, engines not to exceed 450cc, factory frame with production motor. No Hybrids, big bores, prototypes, 2 strokes, etc. This class is for the 450's.

We will have ALL the normal TT classes also, as well as some new/different ones depending on turnout. All other TT classes are $25.00 per class, and are for trophies only, no money. There are NO points for the tracks points series.

Racing times will be posted tonight. We will be starting earlier than normal to keep from being there all night.

The Open and Pro Production classes will be longer than a normal race. Actual lap number has not been determined yet.

What are the normal laps for the race.  I will be in the knobby class.  Also my son will be on a stock ltz250 running in the knobby class will he run with the larger bikes if no smaller bikes show up or will he be in the kids flat track quads?

There are supposed to be some pretty good youth riders coming.

We'll have to see what the turnout is.  I would much rather see your son with kids his own age on a bike that size.

When he did the flat track at Eastbay they put him with the kids that were set up for flat track.  Anyhow we will be there this Saturday providing that it does not rain.

If you want to race one of the money classes, then the CRF450 hybrid will be an OPEN class bike.
If you just want to race, you can run the hybrid in whatever other classes you fit in.

The day before the race- Friday, 11/2/07, there will be open practice. The times and costs are the same as normal Sunday open practices.
