Macks (south side) is completely legal.  FWC is there pretty much every time I have went there.

8th street is not legal.  Never was.

Honestly, from boynton it's a waste of time to go there.

Check out holey lands.  It's on US 27 on the broward/palm beach county lines.  It's faster for you to take beeline, I think.

so 8th stree is closed down, has anyone been there lately,
In what ways is it illegal, like will they tow your truck or fine you?
Is it the parking the issue or the riding.

No OHV's.  It is open for walking, biking, etc, but no motorized vehicles.

It is a big fine the last I heard from FWC.  They love to make examples too!
