Let me start by saying thank you to everyone involved in planning and making the Rodman ride a complete success. The organized parking, riding areas, cooperation and respect shown to the authorities as well as fellow riders was outstanding and proved that this sport/hobby is worthy of being rewarded with more approved riding areas. The only negative I witnessed was also seen by Ranger Wanda. A select few " and I mean a few" could not refrain from speeding, riding wheelstands, and spinning doughnuts in the street. The most noticeable was the kid without a shirt on the Raptor. He was 11 years old tops and weighed maybe 75lbs soak and wet. He continually flew up and down the street on the Raptor then a dirtbike.Ranger Wanda was understandably upset with this. For that Wanda I apologize. What were his parents thinking? Did anyone else notice this? THAT!!! is what gets places shut down. I hope someone knows his parents and talks some sense into them. The bike was way to big and overpowered for someone that size in the dirt let alone on the pavement. Other then that I think the authorities had to be impressed to say the least. Thanks again to everyone involved in making it a fun time for ATV FLORIDA.

I got onto that kid twice for flying up and down the road, I heard that Griz talked to him too. I don't think that he was from ATVFLORIDA but who knows.
I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you cableguy. There were so many people there that it was kinda hard to say hi to everyone.

I noticed the kid on the raptor as a matter of fact he about ran into Joshua down on the south end when he came flying out of a trail. I thought all of the other quads did great slowing down on the south end my 2 boys even layed down for a hr and took a nap without one bike going by reving the motor. That 11 yr old was probably the only thing I noticed that needed some correcting all day. I will say the boy could ride but I dont think he should be out in the pit with a 10yr old girl on the back flying. Im done ranting.

I spoke to him and told him to go back to the pit. I do not think he was from our site.

Several of us commented on the kid  with the Raptor, I was watching to see where he would turn in, never could narrow it down, he was trouble looking for a place to happen.

the short period of time I was up at rodman (about 11:15-12:30) I saw that kid out there blasting up and down the street, I just couldn't believe it. His parents were so irresponsible it's not even funny....with the first being letting someone that small, and that young on such a big bike! WTF!
And then to see him ripping around with no shirt, I'm suprised he even had a helmet on! and then he was doubling on it...AAAIIIEE!!!

Obviously the kid didn't listen to anyone and simply did what he wanted to do....

Gosh I wish I had such powers over my parents when I was a kid.

My wife and I noticed the kid riding up and down the road as well as the pit riding and we kept waiting for something to happen, I am glad nothing happened to the kid but someone needs to give him and his parents a reality check before he gets hurt or even worse.

I to say th kid on the raptor and dirt bike, and could not find out where he was parked. I had to stop my son from stepping out in front of him and yanking him off of the dirt bike one time when he went flying by, he (son) gets real upset when kids and perants like that act the way they do and cost a good rideing aera. When the ranger saw the kid why didn't she say something or even call the FHP back. That would have gotten somebodys att. Enough said. AH like that make me real Angry.

SkyHighT100, you are right only 2 acting like dumb a**, some minor hurts and 1 big hurt. That many quads rideing many miles and mostly no problems. I would say all in all not to shabby a day. What do ya think? Not to shabby a day at all, in fact one of the best I have had in a long time. [smiley=ThumbsUp.gif]

I agree jbbj, i had a lot of fun this weekend and all it would take is one irresponsible jerk to ruin it for the rest of us.  The group that i was with seen "Johnny bad a$$" blowin' up and down the steet a number of times.  And he about threw that girl off at least once we seen.

What were the parents thinking?   Huh
