Should be a good one. Several classes are just a few points apart!

Micro Sprints of Florida will be racing also.

Here are the race results for Round 9 of the Thunderbowl Extreme Flat Track Series on 9-15-07.

YOUTH QUAD
1st- #1 Joey Green, Honda 400EX
2nd- #7 Austin Akers, Honda 400EX
3rd- #21 Justin Palmer, Suzuki Z400
This was a good class with some good racing throughout the night. There was excellent racing and several position changes through all three of their races.

NOVICE QUAD
1st- #3 Jeff Green, Yamaha YFZ450
2nd- #4 Dare Rambo, Yamaha YFZ450
3rd- #26 John Dugan, Yamaha YFZ450
Jeff and Dare went at it yet again this week, putting on excellent show with Jeff coming out on top. John rounded out 3rd, and when he gets his bike dialed in a little more, all three of these guys will be going at it.

INTERMEDIATE QUAD
1st- #6 Travis Edwards, Yamaha YFZ450
2nd- #72 Jon Cabana, Yamaha YFZ450
3rd- #4 Dare Rambo, Yamaha YFZ450
Our Intermediate points leader Travis had his hands FULL this week with Jon Cabana. Jon shadowed Travis for the entire race, literally inches from his grab bar. Dare ran extremely well, but just could not get around Travis and Jon.

LADIES QUAD
1st- #72 Lisa Cabana, Yamaha YFZ450
2nd- #6 Megan Edwards, Yamaha YFZ450
3rd- #10 Jessica Campo, Honda 450R
This class just keeps getting faster. These girls get better every race. Lisa had to work her away around a vastly improved Megan and Jessica for the win.

VET QUAD
1st- #243 Bob Toney, Suzuki LTR450
2nd- #13 Robert Aeh, Honda 450R
3rd- #71 Rick Dugan, Yamaha Raptor
Bob jumped out to a good lead, but Vet points leader Rick, reeled him right back in, and the race was on. Rick got impatient and pushed a little too hard trying to pass Bob, and he spun out. Robert snuck under Rick when he spun for a 2nd place finish, while Rick held on to 3rd.

OPEN QUAD
1st- #12 Wayne Palmer, Yamaha YFZ450
2nd- #26 Jody Hopkins, Yamaha YFZ450
3rd- #32 Brady Windsor, Honda 450R
Wayne put a whoopin' on us! A much improved Jody placed 2nd, and I rounded out 3rd. Special thanks to Todd Akers. My bike blew the clutch, so Todd let me ride one of his bikes, which I could'nt ride for crap!( damn Honda...)

OPEN BIKE
1st- #54 Kurt Brady
2nd- #9r John Rourke
3rd- #85 Pat Galley
Kurt Brady raced an excellent race with John and Pat for the win.

GADGET SPRINT
1st- #95 George Cobb
2nd- #7 DeWayne Alexander
3rd- #29 Jeff Rairdon
Our usual "fast" gadget car Jeff had a little trouble with George and Dewayne this week. These guys had a good, large class and the racing was excellent. Congrats to George on his win after a bad wreck at the last race.

MICRO SPRINT
1st- #48 Scott Green
2nd- #08 Evan Page
3rd- #44 Lewis Rameriz
The Micro's had a helluva race. Scott and Evan put on a clinic on how to drive a sprint car. These guys are F-A-S-T. Lewis did a great job and ended up 3rd.

It was a great night of racing. We had a good turnout, great weather, and the track was AWESOME. There was huge, black, tire melting groove all night which made for excellent and FAST racing. Travis gets the "holeshot of the night" honors... he left the line on the rear wheels in the main race, and just rode it out like that all the way to turn 1. Awesome!

Thanks to everyone who came out.
