Thomas Landings I believe is just north of River Ranch.  You can rent a space for an RV, or you can rent an RV or a cabin.  The RVs are like $70 per night and the cabin is like $130 per night.  The riding there is free and you dont have to own any land to ride there.  The riding there is great.  It is right on Lake Kissimmee.  There is a ramp there for boats, there is a gas pump with 92 octane, so you dont have to worry about gas, and there is a little general store there.  The website is http://www.thomaslanding.com/.  Ive only been there once, but i plan on going many more times.  There is a lot of trails, mud, and even a lake that is perfect fo hydroplaning.

How many miles of trails would you say they have?  Would you say it is like Ocala or more like the size of croom.  I just spoke to Aromas that answered the phone when I called and said it's on 19 acres there must be a lot of trails around the place. Please post back with info I think I would like to take my family there.

the 19 acres is the camping sites, i would say that there is enough trails that would take about 3 or 4 days to cover them all.  I'de say the riding size is more like croom, but the type of riding is totally different, there is barely any whoops at all, and most of the trails are a little wider also.

There is only one cabin, but it is like a house.  Ya it is pretty nice.  It is pretty clean, it could be a little cleaner, but not that bad.  It is pretty big.  It has a master bedroom that has a full size bathroom, two twin size beds, and a cot.  It has a full size kitchen, fully loaded, full size dining room, full size living room, full size 2nd bedroom with two single sized beds and a cot, and another full sized bathroom.  There are TVs in every room with cable.  It also has a huge screened in patio.

On Memorial Day Weekend, it will be so full of airboats you wont want to go. Mem Day is a big traditional time to fill up Lake Kissimmee with airboats. You can ride down the dirt road from Thomas Landing to the back gate at RR. Sometimes it is open & dummie locked. FYI

I have pictures from that area, it was just OK (sure saw some flocks of fat turkeys)...and like IndianJoe said, a lot of the area is River Ranches.

I would look for a better destination myself, unless you own at RR.
