new news on collier atv area?

has any one heard if the collier atv park is to  actually open? (fees, rules, regulations, park hours)  i tryed to search the county website and found nothing really relevent. the only info i found was from the naples daily news. here is the link to the naples daily news article if anyone is interested. please post if it is open and if it is any good...

i did a google search also and found a power point presentation, and swflwm document on the area, so i think it may be in the works. i was wondering if any other info was out there.

I SENT AN E-MAIL TO THE DIRECTOR OF PARKS AND RECREATION INQUIRING ABOUT THE PROPOSED COLLIER ATV AREA. HE REPLIED TO AND SAID THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH PERMITTING FOR THE TEMPORARY SITE AND THAT THE ISSUE WAS TO GO BEFORE THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS  ON THE 24TH. SO HOPEFULLY IT WILL STILL HAPPEN.
