there were six quads totall no one from the site. :-/
they reversed the track and changed some jumps the jumps are alittle more challenging you either jump them or roll them.well hope to see everyone there next friday.

im getting closer..........twist throttle is on, new brake lines are on, piston is mounted to the rod, axle is on, and elka shock should be here around wed.

just bled the brakes, and put on the wheels  and a friend of mines 400ex shock so i can finally after 4 weeks roll it around PROGRESS

Did I miss something? Are you upgrading stuff or did you tear it up some how?

Raptor350,  I was at the track in Lakeland on Sunday and spoke with several riders, they had mentioned that Sunshine was a Supercross track and would not be great on Quads.  Real tight and big jumps, very technical.  Is this true?

  No that is not true,it used to be a while ago but now it is totally different.Yes, it is a bit tight but not like they are saying,the jumps are a lot of fun and the turns are wide and cool! I wish that people who came here a year ago or more would come back out and see the difference or just shut up(this is getting tiring fighting people on something they are not or haven't been a aprt of something but still giving bad opions)It is a lot more exciting than Dade city-Sunshine has actual jumps!!!!!
    Sorry to rant but just getting fustrated that a track is actually giving quads a full night and nobody is giving it a chance they are stuck in the past-we all start somewhere!
  Also they groom the track for us every friday night!!

I can't wait to meet all of you guys and talk to you face to face! I really enjoys your input and ideas-RIDE SAFE!!

Thanks for the info.  I really dont care what people say.  I will ride anything,  I was just wondering because Marino is having the same problem in Lakeland.  His track is a great track for MX and Quads and people just remember the old track.  What are you going to do.

I do believe that I will see you guys this Friday.

DADE CITY WOULD BE ALOT BETTER IF THEY HAD SOME LIP ON THE JUMPS. HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE TRY YOUR BEST TO MAKE IT BECAUSE WE NEED MORE QUADS OR THEY WILL GIVE UP ON THE QUADS SO TRY TO BRING AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN.

BOTH! i bent my stem, my axle, my bars, and my rear shock!
and i upgraded to a twist throttle and a JE 11.5 TO 1 piston ....thanks to ATP....so i should be riding by the weekend!

I will be there(raptor350's dad)and i run the nights there now and i work with all of the beginners and kids,i will help out any way i can-also will let you on the track with your and together you can ride the track! trying to make this as fun for everyone as i can.Kids go out together un less there is only 1 or 2 then i let the dads take them out for a while!If you would like give me a call(727)458-9403 for any info you might need!

yeah man last time you showed up a little late. since there are going to be lots of small quads out there my dad will probably let us ride for 45 min. and let us take a break while the little ones go and so on so on. i really hope you all can make it. and mudbuggy im sorry that we cant let you dirtbike son come out.

ok my quad is at the honda shop right now and i will pick it up tommorrow! then i have to put the carb and air box and plastics and new key mount and sprocket and rims and and and and and and you know the whole process! its looking good though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yea man maybee he will love it on the track and would want a quad .and dreth this all started for the kids but no kids showed up so know its four wheeler practice night. my dad will still be helping out with the kids sometimes he will put them on one part of the track and let us ride the other.

Im almost positive it would have been easier to buy a new quad.   LOL

it starts at 6:30.as soon as you get over the howard franklin bridge take ulmerton rd. exit (688) to 49th st take a left on 49th to 118th ave. go left you will se small sign on left and then make a u-turn. i think thats the right directions my dad is busy and i dont want to bother him. when you get a chance call him at 458-9403(toby) to verify.

here you go this is the quickest way i got this off the site.

- I275 South over Howard Franklin Bridge.
- Take Ulmerton Road exit.
- Continue west to 40th Street.
- Turn left at light.
- Take 40th Street to end (118th ave.)
- Turn right (West).
- Track is up on the right (approx. 300ft)

lol, yeah youll be saying that you got a long ride. im hoping to go on some other group rides since you all are helping me out but thats up to my dad. im sure sunshine is not as great as all the other tracks distance wise but its getting there its better than nothing. :-/
