The Humane Society is involved. I donate a few hundred a year to them. NOT ANYMORE!

They are suing over take in section 9. They have broadened the scope of the word take for their own agenda. Which is totally inaccurate.

These environmental people need to pick a fight with the construction companies and stop bothering us Atv riders. Cars alone pollute the air at least 20 times more than off road vehicles. And highway and road construction destroys lots more forest land than atv/dirtbike trails.

Environmentalists prey on the emotions of often well intentioned but uninformed people to further their private agendas and achieve their personal goals. Enviro-nazzi's must think they own and  have final word on the management of all public lands .These filthy pigs use the same tactics every time and the National Park Service is in bed with them .

The other irritating thing is the notion that the park service is giving us trails . Its like burglarizing some's home then giving back 1%  and tellin them we gave you some of your stuff back... your lucky.
All of this started because our government did not defend the rights of Americans
to use the area as it was originally intended when the Big Cypress was established. Brian Scherf, of The Florida Biodiversity Project, with Amy Atwood, Attorney at Meyer & Glitzenstein, sued the government because they claimed that ORVs were damaging the area. The government instead of fighting this absurd suit back in 2000 (based solely on pictures carefully taken for emotional impact) in court sold out the American people.
The allegations in the suit could not have been proven because they were not true. The government thought it was cheaper to settle than to fight for what was
right. But as history has shown, nothing lasts for ever.

In their continuing plan to eliminate the AMERICAN FAMILY from the Big Cypress the NPS , ACOE , SFWMD  and CERP all have one thing in common , the elimination of recreational access to public lands. We are not alone , now fishermen and recreational boaters face severe restrictions in the Everglades National Park as well and park super Dan Kimball caught hell from many at a meeting recently regarding this.

Folks its not just user groups with buggies or ATV's that face the constant erosion of our favorite activities on public lands ,every form of recreation is threatened.
The slow but constant force of restrictions and regulations are eventually going to affect the very people who oppose us and our activities , yes even low impact users such as Kayakers and the likes will know what its like to have to deal with restrictions and user fees.

The conspiracy to prevent tax paying Americans from legally enjoying
the Big Cypress with their families continues............
