They are really nice trucks there 2 in my neighborhood the v8's. Personally if I were to buy a truck thats out on the market now it would be the Toyota Tundra. I haven't riding in the Titans but I have sat in them. 4door V8 has a lot of room even in the back seats.

My brother owns one. He bought it from the dealer with it already raised in the air. To be honest it looks great but it sucks. Horrible fuel mileage always in the shop. He just got it back yesterday from the shop and then the check engine light came on right after that. This time it was only in for a week. THEY ARE JUNK!!!!!!!

Jayman - sounds like your brother bought a used truck that waws beat on and his experience is very much not typical.
Titans flat out bust any 4x4 truck made next to a new Tundra. Excellent TQ and the same in town gas mileage as a 5.3 Chevy...

He once towed a 16' enclosed trailer with it and averaged 4.2 miles per gallon at 60 mph.

Technically not real world fullsize, so when they say best in class for one thing or the other there are only 2 truck's in it's class, either toyo or nissan. Little misleading

Little misleading they are classified with every other half ton p/u. get the tundra if you dont mind paying some more $. its a better truck. but the nissan is a good truck too. i know a few people with them and i have driven one. as far as looks, they are the best lookin full size truck out there. dont get a ford, chevy or dodge though. theyre crap.

I have a friend at work with a Titan 06 v8 he always said it would out tow my F250 and get better miledge and I would rag back on him this whent back and forth for about 6 months. So one time I am going to take him and his wife camping with me and my better half,I suggest he tow the camper since his truck was so much better .Camper is a 29 ft aluminum frame trailer fully loaded weighs about 6300 pounds.First we hook it up and it squats the truck down within inches of the bump stops so we put on the load levelers and sway cams this brings the truck up about an 1.5 inches. So now we leave everything seem good until we hit the interstate anything over 55 and the thing would sway like mad even with the sway cams .So we set the cruise at 55 and head north we drive for about an 2 hours and its time to fill the tank already he was getting just over 5 mpg all the way up.The way home was no different except we had a head wind and now averaged 4.3 mpg.Needless to say he never tried to bust on my truck again. I can drive 85 with no sway and get 7.5 mpg or if i drive 65-70 I get 9 - 9.5 theese figures are while pulling the same trailer.Around town not towing I get about 12 but I am heavy footed.its a 5.4 gas engine truck.

I tow a 39' fifth wheel, loaded it is probably around 17,000 lbs (just the trailer not the truck) and at 75mph I average 12 mpg going north. On the way back I get a little better. I race my brothers titan and always beat it. I now have a programmer on it and there is no comparison.
I have a 2000 F250 7.3 liter with 35" tires. The mods I have are 4" turbo back exhaust, air filter and a dp tuner programmer (60tow, 80econo and 120 race).

If your F250 is a 5.4 it is a SLUG and of course it will out pull a 1/2 ton - you got more gear and a suspension to pull more. 5.4 Fords barely get 16mpg without a load on the highway and the Ford is known for a power robbing transmission...

But stock for stock he could out race you - not come close to the pulling part.
BTW - for most of you who do not know the Titans will get in the 14's at the dragstrip so they are not slow by any means...

All right, not trying to start some drama or anything, but... That's not all together true... To Lemon law, it has to be within the first 24 months of ownership and it must substantially impair the use, value, or safety of the vehicle. It does not have to be the same thing every time. In Florida you also have out of service time as well. I believe 15 days total in 12 months. 30 days in 24 months, but you had better have EVERYTHING documented to the hill. There should have been a lemon law booklet that came with the vehicle explaining what to do. And there are more guidelines that must be followed. You can get the form from http://myfloridalegal.comI have also heard the Titan is the lowest rated truck ever by J.D.Power. I hate to see anyone have to use Lemon Law - - - but this truck is not a very good one and I hate to see people get ripped off by crappy vehicles (like a Titan). Hope that helps, BMD

I have one and it has 50k miles on it now. I tow 6k lbs every other weekend and beet mine to death. Its only been in the shop twice. The breaks had a problem in the first 5k miles and I blew the rear diff out of it doing a burn out. The fuel milage is around 9mpg towing 6k lbs and get about 13 in the city and highway. Its a very fun truck to drive and I like the way it rides. I dont like the fuel milage or the traction control. Some of you are compairing a 1/2 ton truck to a 3/4 ton truck.

There was a guy towing a trailer on rv.net and it bent his frame. The weight was within the towing limits from Nissan. He posted pics and it was clear as day that the frame was bent. I wouldn't own one.
