I called today to make reservations, I told the lady that we had 2 eleven year olds and asked her what size quads they were allowed to ride.  She said 50CC only.  When they are 12 they can ride 90cc.  This doesn't make sense to me.  Anybody been up there and seen different?

Are you renting them?  If so thats probably why.  Last time I was there my 10 year old was riding his 250 and we had no problems.  There were lots of kids riding machines WAY to big for them.

That's true, if you bring your own quads, they probably won't say anything, but probably due to insurance reasons, they follow the 6-12-16 "rules" for their rentals.  There was a kid there last time riding a 450R...  could hardly reach the shifter  Shocked

as said before you must have been asking for rentals?? Dunno...Its never been an issue with us or our friends  Loved by All when we've been up there before...just this past Memorial day weekend while we were there we saw (I'm guessing here) a 9 year old on an 700 eiger   Shocked get this he was on the drag strip  Shocked  Shocked!!!! I have a bad feeling Durhamtown like everywhere else ...with all the changes they've had to make reguarding saftey etc. its gonna be like everything else so many rules and changes we won't be able to remember what it used to be like up there.

Thanks for the replies.  I got an email back from Mike up at Durhamtown and he said the limits are only for rentals.  Thanks again.

And, Mike only applies those rules because today's girly-parents will rent the wrong ATV for their precious little miracle and sue him when he gets the slightest boo-boo.
