well just got back from holy-paw it was awesome Grin but my brakes are outta commision n its makin a weird tickin sound n stalled kinda like it was outta gas cept it had gas it just lost all power even tho it was still runnin Cry i was water wheelin water was bout up to the lights [03 recon] any ideas are appreciated it ll be goin to the shop tommorrow any opinions also when i was goin down holopaw groves rd i hit a bump n the 4 wheeler slid up n dented the bed so its touchin the cab any i deas how to fix it short of my $250 deductible

Drain the carb, clean the filter. Then drain and change the oil and filter.

 Souds like you may have had it sub merged in too deep of water, and gotten it in the carb

yea, he had it in DEEP water. i figure water got in the engine. when he was ridin through the water, it stalled and had a real hard time starting and then stalled right after it started. and it shot a bunch of steam out the exhaust pipe.

Stand the bike on its back, See if water runs out of the exhaust.

 TOO much water in there would do that also.. But, I would still do the others I mentioned already

yea, he needs to do all that, and take the spark plug out and turn it over and see if it shoots water out. and quit ridin it through lakes!

it wasnt that deep bout to the headlights the guy at the shop says the valves are off a lil and the carb needs cleaned so hopefully itll be cheap n were gettin it snorkeled to while its there if its not to much $$$$$
