I was think the same thing.
How about a twin cylinder 700 or 750 Raptor. That would be suicidal.

suicidal yes, but fun
. I just want to see Yamaha come out with a Rhino 700 and a 400cc sport quad like the Z400, KFX400, or 400EX.

i dont think they will make any changes to the raptor but the yfz could have some better upgrades to compete more with the suzuki and new kawasaki 450's

why change the raptor? its only 2 years old and is the fastest production quad ever made
the yfz could use a makeover to compete with the newer bikes like the LTR, not impressed by the kawi and its too soon to tell about the ds. im waiting on the ktm450 to hit the track

sorry, kawi doesnt suck, bad use of words on my part there, none of the 450s suck, they are all awsome machines and i think its great kawi added reverse. that will be a big plus for recreational riders. But i like it the least out of all the 450's, except maybe honda
i was just expecting more from them since they came late into the game

and in a drag race the Raptor 700 is the fastest production quad ever made, stock for stock faster than all the 450's, banshee, quadzilla, 250r, etc
The quadzilla was and is still the fastest quad ever built in stock form.

quadzilla - debatable that its the fastest production quad ever built, assuming it runs, and it would be hard to find a completly stock zilla to race - origional rings and everything. no doubt the current fastest production quad is the 700 raptor
outlaw - fugly! and no, 700r is faster. plus its a sport quad with irs

on another site they were talking about rumors yamaha was going to improve it's fuel injection system by using a closed loop system. meaning using O2 sensor and have better mapping for air/fuel ratio. Now if they did that...that would make mods very easy just bolt on your exhaust change your air filter for better flow and
wallah
the on board ECU would make all the adjustments.

If your talking about QU4D, I have that issue to. They say it is a strong competitor... but not the best.
