I'd stick with whatever pully is supposed to be on it,,,,if you aint got enough horsepower with that,,,,then you are never gonna be happy.

Nice truck man.  I cant find a good truck like this anywhere.  Tuesday me and my dad drove around for probably 2 1/2 hours looking just for trucks.  The ones we saw were either crap on the outside, or the ones that looked nice had ripped up interiors.

the truck has 190,000 miles on it but it runs strong, my dad drove it hoe 20 hours striate without a problem. besides,Chevy 350 v8s are ridiculously easy to work on and find parts if i wanted to rebuild it down the road.

Yeah, I would want this over a flashy one.  This is a real truck, one that you can take offroad and not worry about scratching it.  The ones with custom paint jobs, chrome this...chrome that belong in the garage.  Do you have any idea what kind of powers its putting down with the supercharger?

I bet it does with that supercharger, I doubt people are expecting that lol.  If you mind me asking, how much did you get it for?

I'm going to have to say...leave the pulley alone, I just swapped the pulley on my 2003 Supercharged Nissan Frontier (about 41k miles) within 2 weeks my supercharger basically ate itself. I took it to the dealer and they checked it out, the entire charger had seperated and came apart. Stick with what it has. I went from 6-7lbs of boost, up to 10-12lbs...down to 3lbs of boost. Amazingly the dealer did not notice the swapped pulley and gave me a brand new supercharger.

^ s/c comes stock on some frontiers

with 190,000 miles I would not want to push more boost for fear of blow by. too much forced air on worn piston rings will "blow by" the rings. Plus the ecu will most likely need to be retuned to pump more fuel to compensate for the extra boost, and you will probably want to get it tuned for a higher grade of fuel for more power, if it isnt already tuned for premium

nice truck btw

well it has a new fuel pump that came with it, and the engine has alot of miles but 100,000 of them are highway... ill probably rebuild it at around 230,000, it dosent cost to much since its just a Chevy 350. but i realy dont plan on changing the pulley any time soon, its looking like ill barely afford gas as it is now, I'm already going to need to work more hours.
