if you wanna see a big hog, go to the orlando bass pro and go in the mens bathroom and over the urenals (sp?) there is a pic of the world record black boar. it was shot in russia. it is like 1164 lbs or somethin. i think its the real record. not fake.

 I am writing to voice my concern over the killing of this unusual animal. I am most concerned that an 11 year old believes that killing something so unique is "an accomplishment".  I wonder what sort of people raise their children to be proud of killing defenceless animals. Regardless of it's size, animals are no competition for a human using gun and shooting from a safe distance away.  This behaviour is cowardly- like hitting someone from behind.  Instead of feeling proud, this boy should feel ashamed for putting an animal through three hours of suffering for no reason at all.  I expect parents to teach children about compassion and appreciation for life. Just my opinion but  Personally, I'm really sad you shot that pig. How nice it would have been for it to either live free or be used as a source of scientific  discovery. But hey, I'm from California where we tend to think that way.  My son is 10 and became a vegetarian on his own at age 5 (his father and I are carnivores). Our son still takes the time to remove even ants from our house so no one will squish them. Interesting how different two American boys can be!

I have to congratulate you because I didn't think it was possible for an 11 yr old as large as yourself to chase a pig for three hours in hilly terrain. Well done, fat boy! For real though. Killing an animal about half your size does not make you a hero, or a model American, or anything else anybody might say you are. It certainly does not make you worthy of being in a movie.
You are a worthless piece of crap and i hope one day another noble American hunter such as yourself mistakes you for a large hog and shoots you about 12 times before your fat ass drops dead. I would like to order one of these terrorist pigs for my kids to kill so they can be good Americans. How much are they and how do we get into the movies business by killing them? What kind of hard on can an eleven year old boy get when his "excited" father and guides get to ejaculate over killing. Oh, isn't it so exciting. Jesus ate fish and as a Jew would never have touched a pig. Christian indeed. Did Jesus carry a weapon?  Hunting should be outlawed. Wild animals have a tough time of survival as it is without having to be killed for
someone's entertainment. Why don't you go out into the woods naked and try to survive by drinking from creeks, digging grubs and burrowing into some kind of hole for shelter, let alone have to avoid hunters like yourself. Someday I hope you have the courage to look back on killing this tremendous animal and feel the guilt and shame for doing so. It's not likely someone so young has the capacity to question what their parents teach but my hope for you is that someday you realize their error, put the gun away and go on to better things.

Total fake. Not only was it not as big as claimed, it's definitely not a "wild" hog. He was in a pay to shoot place that guarantees results. The more you pay, the bigger the animal. Places like these raise the animals like farm animals then place them in front of the hunter to shoot. It was probably a big hog, but not that big.

Today in South Florida, the father was on Paul and Young Ron in the morning show, talking about how it was immediately made into sausage.  They did not cut any other slices of meat.  They are planning on keeping some of the sausage for themselfs and donate the rest to charity and churches.

To me the whole interview sounded like a monster publicity stunt to get their 5 minutes of fame.
