It's the next exit North, about 5 miles? then go west to the burned out Dairy Queen (about 200 feet)

Be carefull what you leave when you park Shocked It is so close to I-95 things can disappear real fast!

You can take it back a little ways, have not been in awhile.  When I was there last it was very wet and could not go far, LOT'S of palmetto's and burned tree stumps.
Maybe if you go past the parking area straight back you may get thru?

As far as I know, I don't know who owns the land?
I know our ATV Club does a ride there every year.
Check out old posts in where to ride or group rides about Scottsmore/5A.

As far as i know it is legal. When i was there a cop drove up just to make sure no one was doing anything stupid right there where people park, then he left. When he pulled up there were a lot of people there with there quads. I have seen trucks make it out there before. But the last time i went was a while ago and it was really dry. I definitely would like to meet up with some people out there sometime and go riding. Will have to be in January though.
Oh yeah, to get there you take a left at the light right as you get off the exit (5A). Then you go under the 95 over pass and you will run straight into it if you keep going straight. You will see where people park. Have fun...

How big is this area?  I see in the pictures people camping out there.  I'm in Fort Lauderdale so its about 2 hours away from me.  If my friends and I were to go we would camp for the weekend.  Are we going to need a GPS?  Thanks for any info.

If you're in Casselbery, and Me and Travis (Rubicon3303) are as well, then maybe we should meet up some where around here first, and drive up to 5A, my girl is coming, and I think Travis's girl is coming also.

Rubicon...if you are coming from the ucf area take 50 all the way through Bithlo and Christmas and  it will take you to 95. Take 95 north a few exits...
Wish i could ride with you all on Sunday...unfortunately ill be out of town until Jan. 3rd.  Sad Will be great to have new people to ride with out there when i get back though.
