I'm going swimming for a few minutes,,,,,someone please give me more reasons to get rid of this post when I get out of the pool,,,,,,luvmuddin, your'e just not getting it about this being a family site and the impression that this site wants to give.

noone cares about your free speech here and the constitution does not apply,,,,you can create another site and post whatever you want there, but what goes on here is at the whim of Mr. Bones and the moderators.

I've already gotten complaints about this thread, one even got me out of the pool to go look at this.

I hope folks really read what Greenmachine has posted. I have no problem with adult talk in the proper place. But I can tell you from experience that things from this site have been used to show negative impressions of the ATV Riders. Now if we are embarking on this effort that Dreth and Pauls have started lets take a look at what is posted in the open for all to see, and think about how it appears to outside folks. Again we can become our own worst enemy.

Guess not. I'm all for preerving this site the way it was intended to be. I've been here for years now under several names. It has changed some getting more liberal with frisky content, at least from some. And like Ida said it's notup for debate, they rule the way they want, Constitution does not apply. No fair treatment here. If you're in the click you can do what you want, otherwise .beware!

It's not about Free speech or a Constitution people,
There are rules and guidlines for everything we do in life, here is no differant. You dont roll into church on sunday blasting your loud music out of respect for the place you are.
When you go to work in most cases you have to wear and look a certain way......
It really is not that hard to follow the rules in here and if you want a differant style forumn there are plenty that will suit each individual.
This site has a lot to offer and we should use it for what it is intended. Paul has a more liberal forumn if your the type that likes to dabble in some crazy shizzzzzzzle.  www.floridaatv.com

i agree about a site  being for atv enthusiasts , it should be what it used to be info on riding where good trails are and get togethers .

Good points. The problem is not that people here play around, or that others don't want to have fun, it's that the site was set up with a particular kind of interaction. And when some say they're just playing around and getting flirty, it can upset the way the site is intended to run. It's great that people do take care and concer themselves with what their kids see. This site was set up to be a kid friendly site. If people want to be more playful or flirty in an adult way then they can do it elsewhere. But don't complain if someone like Cheropride calls you out for doing it here. She's not bendingthe rules, just asking others to observe them to safeguard her family. No one is saying don't have fun, they're saying if it's not rated G material, then take it to somewhere it's appropriate.

if you feel that someone is getting preferential treatment, then say so and stop "kitty"-footin around it.

The only people I WOULD give preferential treatment to on this site know me well enough not to even ask for it, and I think the same goes for all the other moderators, so step off with your snide comments, and bring the evidence or quit your comments.

i'm buying my old man a 4x4 Jeep Wrangler tomorrow...i saw one going thru the mud yesterday and just have to have one.....plus he'll want to drive it and i'lll get me a camp somewhere in return...lol...ya'll understand ......

it has a lift already.......probably not high enough for me...i want some big ole muddin tires.....i  know nothing about tires....i am trying to find stuff on the internet for advice....i dont want to bring it home until its all tricked out..... but quite ......any suggestions on where to look?

Two things -

1. This site was meant to be kid friendly and I believe it should stay that way as that's how it built to so many members. to alienate those that made it successful in the first place would be wrong.

2. No "kittty footin" about it, there is plenty of preferential treatment here, and the mods don't treat the members with respect. refer to your "give me a reason to delete it" post above. a moderator should be treated as well as treat people with respect, not act with a complex of their own. I have been targeted for speaking out about this exact thing, and it's why I rarely come here at all. I only sounded off because I feel this kid friendly site should stay that way and Cheropride shouldn't be persicuted for calling people on their behaivor. and your quote above goes to show that you don't treat members with respect yourself. "step off you snide comments" and a challenge to "bring the evidence or stop your comments" appears to be done with a God complex and in a condescending tone which is inappropriate and not necessary. There's all the proof that is needed of the attitudes here. If you can't get respect from those that are supposed to be enforcing the rules and making the site run smoothly according to the design, how do you expect the other members to post appropriately. lead by example and you'll have much less drama and need for moderating.

the only time someone is not treated with the utmost of respect that any human being deserves, is when the rules of the site that everyone has had the opportunity to read and had to agree to, are broken.

I'm only treating you with the exact amount of respect you are treating me with.

Ask anyone, and I do mean that, anyone on this site who has met me in person about how I treat others and you might just change your opinion, but when I spend as much time on this site doing the job I voulonteered for then get you criticising the job that I and the other mods do,,,,let's just say it doesn't make me feel all warm and fuzzy.

I don't get paid to do this, and I wouldn't ask for any because I think the job of a moderator is important in such a high-profile site as this that IS being watched by many in law enforcement, local/state/federal government and many who just want ammunition to take even more areas from us to be able to ride on.

I guess there has to be some kind of crossing guard here trying to help people from getting run over, and sometimes that person is scorned for doing their job,,,so be it, I'm going to bed.

the reasons for not having an "over 18" section on this site have been explained in the past that the physical server and location of the website does not allow over-18 content on any of their websites,,,,to be able to keep this place alive and well, Mr. Bones has to abide by those rules or risk getting the site shut down. 

A while back Mr. Bones created and hosts the site mentioned above for those who like the same people here, but allow pretty much anything, and many members have taken that route to "spout off" over there and have their fun,,,,,I believe the idea died because most realized that they had more fun here even after some censorship.

The site is still running and available to anyone to sign up.
