Flag Mounts
«
on:

I was surfing around the other day for ATV Flag Mounts and came across a company, ModQuad that makes one that bolts right on..
Are they any good, and any place sell them cheaper then $ 25.00 and wanting $ 7.00 shipping..
I am looking to get 2-3 of them, and cannot even get a price break by looking on ebay..
Thanks,
Tony

chaparral or whatever sells modquad. so does rocky mountain i think. if you order 100 bucks of stuff then you get free shipping. just add some oil or somethin you need and get free shipping.

Are you looking for a quick mount that you can just slide the stick into or just a regular mount that you can bolt the flag to?

I want something more or less of permanent, but id like to use the spring guide, which allows the pole to flex some, instead of breaking..
I already have the pole and the flag.. Bought it at a bicycle shop..But it has the mount for a bike tire..

I use a CB antenna bracket that you would normally find on a semi. You can get it at any Radio Shack, it clamps right to the rack and positions the flag to where you can still use the rack for your cooler and such.

Just remember the flag needs to be 11" x 14" , not a triangle.

JackL, i am aware of that.. Really sucks that i cannot find the material similar to the flag i have now..
It does not fade, and mud washes right off, with no staining or discoloration..
It is kind of like a plastic..

I was unable to locate flags for my trip to the holeylands a few weeks ago (everyone was out of stock). If you need something quick and easy, I took a piece of square cloth (old pillowcases), cut them to size, and painted them with bright orange construction paint, and then super-glued them to a pole. For a last minute effort, the 4 I made turned out pretty well, and the paint made the cloth rigid like a plastic flag. probably won't last as long as the plastic ones, but it worked pretty good for free.

Hey can I ask a question? I have not had the chance to go riding anywhere besides my own property yet,,,, But I am looking to try out Ocala, and Croom some day soon,Which locations require a flag anyway? I would sure like to know before I go and get in trouble for not having one. I read through the where to ride info but dont recall seeing anything about any of them requiring flags, just registraion stickers.
