Depends on the rider, if the KFX is modded, where your riding.... But I doubt it...

From my first hand experiance, a piped Raptor 350 has a good enough time trying to hang with a stock 400ex, and since the Z400/KFX400 is a little faster than a 400ex, I'm gonna have to say that the Warrior doesn't stand a chance with just a pipe.

does it really matter that much,Ihave a 300ex with an exhaust upgrade and my son on his banshee and my buddy on his 400ex have a hard time keepin up with me on the trails.unfortunately there aren't any places to really open up and really haul butt.and i have just as much fun on my 300 as the guys on the bigger more expensive quads thats whats important to me.then again i'm not a racer either.

you would be better off with a 400 ex if your looking in that price range, the warrior has worse suspension compared to a 400 as well.

I agree with you there for sure. I've been riding a $1000 dirt bike, when at the track, it seems everybody has 06 and 07 Honda four strokes. I was just talking about a drag race situation, not fun factor.

Who cares, if you like the bike and enjoy riding thats what matters. But no stock for stock the kfx is faster and better all the way around.
Allways remember how fast to you want to hit that tree.
Have fun ride safe

NO WAY AT ALL. MY BROTHER HAS A 2000 WARRIOR WITH EVERYTHING ON IT....BORED .40 OVER, WEB CAM, EDELBROCK CARB, SPROCKETS, REV BOX. ALUMINUM AIR BOX...EVERYTHING AND MY 400EX SMOKES HIM SOO BAD IT AINT FUNNY. ALL I HAVE IS PIPE, JETS, FILTER AND REV BOX. BUT THE WARRIORS ARE GOOD STRONG BIKES. JUST NOT MEANT FOR JUMPING AND STUFF LIKE THAT. THEY ARE VERY HEAVY BIKES.

theyre not bad bikes (other than the fact that theyre not hondas
) but they arent gonna keep up with a fairly good rider on a 400 of any kind. it doesnt really matter how fast you can go as long as you have fun though. like BIGWORM3699 said, how fast you want to go when you hit a tree. heres a tip, the faster you are goin, the more it hurts. if you like the bike then get it. if you are gonna try to push a big heavy slow bike to keep up with a 400 then dont cause you will end up in the hospital or the morg.

IT IS A PRETTY HEAVY BIKE. BETWEEN ME LIFTING THE BACK OF MY 400EX AND MY BROTHERS WARRIOR THERES A BIG DIFFERENCE. HES DONE EVERYTHING HE CAN TO THAT BIKE EXEPT A TURBO, OR ROCKET BOOSTER, AND HE CANT TOUCH MY 400.
