For those of you who know the Groves, the land surrounding Swing Lake has been purchased and is being cleared on the weekends. The owner won't cut off access just yet, but will soon. And in case you hadn't heard, a 15 year old boy got hurt riding next to Grissom in Port Saint John. Our prayers are with him and his family.

When you come to the end of Pine street you go right and its thew first lake you come to.If you keep heading north you run into the canal then Faye lake. Brevard county riding areas are  dissapearing fast.

Where is Swing Lake out there? Is that also known as Hidden Lake. You can still park of Pine and head west (left) correct??

Yes you can still head left and go out to hidden lake. That trail is under alot of water though. No guts no glory.

the ole rescue copter was circling that area again yesterday evening. If the people  would control there kids alittle better out there we would have any problems, 99% of the accident are 14 and under with lack of supervision and then they dont even live anywhere close to Port st. johns or the groves and thats gonna end up putting a gates up at every enterance. But then what do I care I own severeal lots out there so I can have Invite rides.

I was out ther yesterday & today. Where's everyone at?? I only saw about 15 other quads all weekend. Something was going on somewhere.
You're right about lack of supervision. The kids also have no commonsense, don't get me wrong I know accidents can happen, but they are also preventable.
When they do finally put up gates, you'll have to give me a holler.
