I know of an AWESOME pit and some good trails in Ocala.  I have a camp in Hog Valley in Ocala.  Okay, here is how you get there (sort of hard to find).  Go down 19 towards Ocala, if you are coming from Orlando, you will cross Hwy 40.  Keep going on 19 until you come to Salt Springs.  Go to 316 turn left...316 is next to a shopping center with a restaurant called The Square Meal.  Anyway, continue on 316 for a few miles.  You will pass 88 and some other roads.  Once you come to 301 turn right (you can only turn right), you will know this is the right street by two things, first, a Oklawaha sign for a camp ground at the end of 301 and plus it is the last street before a large bridge.  Anyway, you will drive past a lot of rebel flags...try not to stop...lol

Then you will pass rd 31, be looking for a small road on your right and on that road is a big pit and a lot of trails.  If I get this banshee I might be going out there soon.

That's where I always ride at.There'a a sand pit right by the locks, and definitely some of the better trails in Ocala. That road where the Oklawaha sign is at is 160 ave.Rd.I plan on riding Sunday. Later!!

Does anybody have the lat/lon, on those, they sound close to where were going to be this weekend.  Just hate putting them back on the trailer.  I've searched the forum and haven't come up with much... first time out with gps.

We passed through the Eureka "Sandbox" on the Rodman IV ride and it was fun. Wish I could of spent more time there didn't get to see it all since we were already low on gas. Here is a shot and you can sort of see some of the hills in the background but it's steeper than it looks.. If anyone has anymore pics please post them. We need to get a group ride out there sometime, that would be fun! Motomike is there any other pits North of Eureka Dam you know of cause the topo map shows some?

Eric, it that the pit that we came too, and then everbody wanted to continue riding? I remember that I marked it in my GPS just don't remember what I put it under. That pit sure did look like fun I would like to go back there some day, and spend more time there. Mabe we can set up a group ride one day.

Hey T2,
Yes that is the pit we came to just before we crossed the road and then ran along the trail next to the river. I think you are one on the quad in the background to the right. Yes i would like to head back there. Maybe we can get a ride in together early April? By then I should be ready with my new quad.

Yo!  I saw another awesome place to ride.  I went hunting this weekend and saw a bad a$$ place.  Completely legal!!!

Anyway, go down 19 to 316 turn (only one way to turn), go to 301 turn (only one way to turn), first hard road on left.  Drive down, it turns to dirt then has some HUGE tracks and pits.  The other one I talked about before it closed and is filled with trash.

Lake Delancy is big.  Just pick up an onf map somewhere and you will see. But Lake Delancy is everything from 316 and east and south to 40, I think.
