Let's get the dealer's involved [smiley=Approve.gif] let the dealers take care of the problem with a push from us
We need everybody's cooperation. We could setup a day so everyone can make a call on the same day to the same dealer and the next day or week call another dealer everybody together the same day and the following day another until we drive them crazy. Then we can exchange the infomation the dealer has given us .You don't have to have a new atv to do this anyone can pick up a phone and call. Another thing we can do that will get people's attention is standing in front of the dealer with sign. Can you imagine 400 or 500 people with sign in their hands the attention we would get would be big. It would bring out the news stations that means we would be all over the news then maybe the people incharge of providing riding area would have to do something about this problem. We can call the news stations the day we deicide to stand in front of the dealer's
what do you guys/girl thing about making a list of the people that are down to make that call and then we can make another list of all the people that are down to stand in front of the dealer's. I'M TIRED OF BEING SENT HOME AND NOT BEING ABLE TO RIDE THE HOLE DAY IS TIME WE STOP TALKING ABOUT DOING SOMETHING AND DO IT ALL FOR ONE AND ONE FOR ALL I RATHER GO OUT STANDING THEN SITTING DOWN THIS IS WAR [smiley=lecture.gif]

It is true. Dealers are making a lot of $ from us. They should stand up and help. They are one of the big businesses that have a louder voice than the single ATV rider.

We need to hurt them by brining down the sales uncle sam would be prety mad if this start to happen maybe this is the only way we can get our riding area's. Sitting at home will do notting for us. We need to [smiley=box.gif]with them so they [smiley=box.gif] with the people incharge of providing riding area.

dirty sounds good. but the bottom line is until we hit 'em where it hurts they arent going to do a damn thing. if people would stop buying atv's and the dealers would start losing money i gaurantee you we'd see results.(you know that aint gonna happen) i dont know but i think if we picket we may make the news(highly unlikely) but come tomorrow we'll be yesterdays news and they all can care less about our concerns. the reality is we are going to continue buying and spending and coping. its a viscious cycle but it sure is a whole lot of fun.

There are some dealers trying as hard as we are to get places to ride. All Terrain of Florida is trying more than anything to get land together. If you guys are buying from typical pushy dealers that don't care about riding, you need to shop somewhere else!

hey now thats a good idea. if i were to buy a new atv i'd ask the dealer what efforts they are making in getting us more riding places. if they have no idea, i'd just go to another that does. maybe that'll get 'em involved.

If you guys are looking to get new bikes. I know an Arctic Cat "dealer" that is working on our side and not just talking about it. He rides with us all the time. Talk to J.D. he posts alot of things on this site. Check out the photo section and the post called Holy Lands from this weekend. That's all of us riding with the "dealer" who sold us the bikes!

Don't you guys/girls thing that once the dealer find out that everyone that go in to buy a new atv/dirtbike ask about riding area and they say nothing or don't no and then you walk out of the store by the third time they would more then likely know whats going on and start to say we are doing everything we can to get riding area's how would you be able to tell if this is the true. Salesmen most of the time are lining throw their teeth. I thing if we can get a large group of rides together and every weekend go to different dealer with signs the news stations would be out there every weekend at all the different dealer locations we go to this will have an impact on sales not only will we get the dealers involved but may other people as well. for example those people that don't like atv's because they are to loud or we ride on their property probably those people don't even know that their are no places to ride them and the people incharge of providing riding area are just closing them all down. This would get lots of people mad and start talking/helping us [smiley=Nuke.gif] [smiley=Nuke.gif]

yeah, every time I go into Rick Case, I ask some poor unsuspecting sales hole "ok, where can I ride this if I buy it," and they ALL say "Oh, anywhere...along US 27, ...any where"... until I tell them they are full of $#@! Then they start up with ..oh I don't really know....
They don't really care cuz they know we don't really stick together on any issue...as soon as you leave, another poor slob will buy a bike...

They don't care about what is going on with riding areas. If a dealer catched on that we won't but I doubt they are going to use their spare time to look up things. And if they do... we all know about things from personal experience and we know more than any dealer just looking on the internet!

looks like the dealer don't know or don't care about the people their selling atv's /dirtbike's to that's why they need to be involved. How the hell can they sale you a 6000.00 dollar bike and there's no place for you to ride it. What am I suposed to do with it pay for it and let it sit come on. ok maybe I should have done some reseach but hey maybe it should be againt the law to sale you something that you can not use because their is no place for you to use it [smiley=Confused.gif]

There are places that are legal to ride.... They are just far, small, have lots of rules and usually the good places are closed off. I went to the Prarie this weekend and haven't been there in 2 years. I was sooo suprised to see almost all the places I used to ride in are now blocked off!
