Me and a buddy have been thinking about it, its right down the road. Never raced before, what are the rules on modified bikes?

I wouldn't miss this race for nothin'. The first GNCC is always exciting, just wish there was alittle more time between race #1 and #2, back to back races is alot to deal with.

If your going, good luck, and enjoy the new course!!

Derek! Awesome that you are on this site! You should do great out there, but your right about the back to back racing.. I have a hard enough time doing Florida events back to back.

Nah, not yet. I think I'll get it at gatorback if Amanda is there with it. I had no idea that I lost my skidplate untill my chain came off. I would really like to run the GNCC, but I would like to run gatorback also.. Might be hard to do.

I am pumped for this one! This will be a tough schedule for sure, but with 3 weekends in a row of XC racing, I am jacked up!!
You got the 17th to warm up for Gatorback on the 24th. Then the GNCC, Titan on the 4th. Then just a few short days later on the 10th is the GNCC, Maxxis General in Washington, GA. If your feeling froggy, the 24th is GNCC, Steele Creek in Morgantown, NC followed by the FTR QS#5 on the 31st.
WOW talk about a schedule!! Don't know if I can make everything I just wrote, but I am going to try like heck!! I may need to bum a ride with some of you coming fromt he South.

I am gonna (try) to do the 4 races you are talking about too. Seems like I have not raced much this year, the only racing has been the Q.S. series and no H.S. races, I am gonna try to build a MX quad and start doing some of that on the side, dang XC set-up does not go over to well on the MX tracks.....

On my way home from the cancelled Apollo race, I stopped off on 60 and I-95. I went about 1/4 of a mile and on the right was a big CVS? wharehouse. I went down the road until it came to a gate that was open. I drove in about 3 miles. This is the property the race will be on. There were a ton of turkey and deer. Beautiful place. I think they sell sod. Lot's of room for camping!

LOL!! Yes, of course Isaw palmettos. They are everywhere over here!! But not that bad. That place is so huge, I have no idea where anything is to be. I drove back about 3 miles. They have a sod farm there. Since I was not invited, and I had my trailer in tow, I figured I would not venture off the dirt road or go too far.  Roll Eyes

I just watched the helmet cam video. Something was wrong with the connections and the video part fades in and out. The sound is all there and most of the vid, but it can get annoying. I didn't notice, but when you dove in to help me, you sank like you said, about 3 feet! I saw youwere pervfectly clean and as we were getting it up the bank, you were black with mud from the waist down.
