Ridin' hard and gettin' dirty!

Does anyone is this forum still ride in the Yucapen?  I've always wanted to ride there.  Heard lots of good things about it in the past.  Is it still a good place to ride?  If anyone is interested in showing me and my friends (responsible atv riders) the area, please let me know.  We want to ride on Sat,
April 30th.  Any info about the place would be greatly appreciated. Smiley

I rode there today, just got back. There were a couple hundred people out there, lots of mud! One of the most fun days I have ever had out there. Have never been so muddy!

I hope the mud was near all the ponds and that the trails have dried up.

Is yucapen better then northport? Is it whooped out? Is it sand or dirt? How big is it? Please give me directions going south on I-75.

As of right now most of the trails are dry. The trails are all sand. It is not all whooped out, some trails do have some whoops though. I don't know if it's better than northport, never been there.

I don't know if it's better than N Port, but it's a pretty cool place.  Some of the whitest sand you'll ever ride on.  It's pretty big so I'd recommend a GPS.

You can ride straight from burnt store road all the way to 41, about 12 miles one way. You can ride all day and not see the same place twice. Some is posted so be careful. I think Sundays are the best. More people, lots of fun.

I 75 to north fort myers bayshore exit. Go west about 15 miles or so to Burnt Store rd. Turn right. Look for the firestation on your left. Park on the east side of the road and don't cross the road. It's wet out there right now. It's a long way from west palm beach.
