I'm interested in trying the Tellico OHV area and have heard conflicting stories. By people who have never rode there. So if you have what do you think of it ? Any info would be great please include what type of ATV you were riding while there.

I have been there, it's very pretty and rocky. There are like 8 or 11 trails, they are all marked and vary from extremely easy to extremely tough, and by this I mean, you have to winch your way up, and winch your way down. I was there about 3 years ago, and i was riding double up with my wife and girls so we kept it on the very easy trail just to enjoy the scenery. It's worth the trip out there and you are probably 1.0 hr  away from georgia and they do have a bunch of OHV trails in that area that you can also ride. Good luck , have fun and be safe.

Where is it?
It runs from Murphy, N.C. to Tellico, TN. I've been told there are some good trails there, but some have told me it is to extreme to enjoy. I don't mind some rock climbing but I don't have a winch.

I have never been there - but my brother has - here a few shots of the jeep trails. I know its not the atv trails but it can give you an idea of the terrain.

Wow !! Hmm I think I'll make sure there are at least 2 of us and plenty of tow straps !!! And maybe a winch!  Did I mention larger and better tires.

Nice place but as stated very rocky and extreme trails are more work than fun, winching, on/off bike etc.. It was enjoyable watching the rock crawling vehicles also.
