You guys will not believe this. The residents of Sanibel do not want SEGWAY SCOOTERS on their city's bike lane roads. The residents say it's a safety hazard. Sanibel Island is like a small replica of Key West but 70% of the residents are over 50. Could you imagine if I rode my ATV on Sanibel ground, they would sentence me to death.
What's going on with SWFL ? Old fossils move down here and make their own rules. Freakin elders !

We need a few more Hurricanes to come and scare them away!!The neighbors behind me look at me when I start my quad as if I'm gonna turn it off because they don't like it.
Needless to say,"They sure know how loud my quad is!!

You guy's REALLY need to lay off, there is a perfectly logical explanation...  The SEGWAY riders must be out of control, they spend countless hours doing what the cop's golf carts can't do...donuts Can you imagine how much extra the city is going to have to spend on Police Interceptor carts. |

I though about opening a Segway dragracing track in my neighborhood.But the noise level would surely have the cops here in no time!!

Just like you said Chino, we need a good cat 4 to hit this area. You say that now.. It'll suck if it happened. The problem is punks, not treading lightly with their Segway's, leaving ruts in pea rock drive ways and riding past the keep off the grass signs. Its these Segway users that are going to ruin it for everyone!!!! |
